From a med student -- if you haven't already, I'd ask your PCP to do an abdominal ultrasound around your belly button to make sure nothing else is causing it to have recurrent infections. they should be able to do it right in the office! It's most likely intertrigo, basically when your skin doesn't get enough air circulation; it should get better when the area is clean and dry and aerated.

kekeke i come from Southeast Asia and durians are really one of the most prized fruits enjoyed by many of the locals here. definitely can understand that the smell and intensity of the taste is not for everybody. I just suddenly felt like i had to show my appreciation to ashley. thank you soooo sooooo much for being so understanding and kind to all sorts of cuisines and couching your words so kindly to fellow durian lovers. like it rly shows your character and you have so so so much kindness and openness in your heart to not diss any sort of food because i could be someone else's favourite thing on earth. and don't feel bad kelly! literally not bashing u or anything; i personally felt weird about durians when i first had them as a kid but now i can't stop eating them hahaha. @@Jun-lh6bz u can't get rid of the smell lol once u opened the skin, your whole house will smell like durian because it has a strong scent. I think cooking it would actually reduce the scent but then you won't get the real taste of durian 😅 malaysian usually cooks durian and turned it into tempoyak or fritter and sometimes we eat with sticky rice and coconut milk (pulut durian)

Im from guangzhou, south of China. Rice rolls are probably my favourite food. It may looks like it is easy to make but it is not. It actually require a lot of hard work and steps to make sure the rolls come out great. The rice has to be freshly ground everyday to ensure the texture. Anyways I just really glad Ashley tried this dish.

durian is actually native to southeast asia! it has a strong stench which is what drives most people away, but you're right, durian ice cream and other forms of dessert are actually way more palatable! glad to see you being open and trying new foods from other cultures ashley! 🤍

Belly button tips! -Sleep well (I noticed if I sleep like for 5 hours it would get infected) sleep for 8 hours -take probiotics -after sweating clean it with running water and soap Hope this helps and don’t take antibiotics guys (prevent super bugs!)

most durians in the us usually are not fresh durians, it’s frozen yk transportation things, the reason why the taste and smell is bad i think because it’s too ripe and too soft. the good durian has to be crunchy outside and soft on the inside. And you can find these in South East Asia, there are so many good durians out there.

For your infected belly button u should rely make sure that u clean everyday while having a bath and always apply some moisturizer or something to prevent it from drying some dirt gets accumulated so u should just keep it clean!
