To say I am struggling mentally would be an understatement. I keep telling myself that it’s up to me to live for them now, but that mentality only lasts so long. Manny’s videos have been a beacon of hope. Believe me when I say that I can totally relate when you say Manny is like an antidepressant 😂 And I wasn’t sure about the holidays this year with so many empty chairs, but I know in my heart that I desperately need to surround myself with all the love and holiday spirit I can get. Take those setting sprays you like and transfer it into a Colourpop Pretty Fresh Pretty Fresh setting spray bottle because it has a good mister on it. My husband and I were long distance in high school, then again 2020/2021 when the military moved him across the country and I didn’t go with him. I still saw him every4-7 weeks, but it was definitely hard! Since he’s military it’s something I’ve always known would happen, so I was more prepared, but basically you learn to function as your own person, then when you’re together you’re your own person, just with someone else! There’s always transition periods, but we always made a point to FaceTime or call every day, and we do this now that we live together too. We call in the car mostly! But communication is key and learning to not take the person’s busy-ness personally!
