Game Description:
Sipho is a game that combines eerie real life underwater creatures, insects, body parts with building, combat and exploration. Create your own creature by combining various parts, called zooids. Each zooid specializes in some sort of function- some zooids eat food, others are responsible for movement, attacking other creatures or providing structural support. Most zooids have active and passive abilities. All of the zooids combine into a single creature, Sipho, whose main goal is to climb to the top of the food chain, by using cunning weaponry and various skills.
Collect nutritious food, grow your own creature to become the best of them all. Beware though, there are powerful enemies out there to stop you

Creature customization
Create your own ultimate monstrosity by combining different body parts, each with unique function. The further you progress, the more options you unlock, the more powerful you get.
Choose your own playstyle
Unlock 4 different species throughout the game and discover the one that fits your playstyle. Mix and match parts from different species to create the ultimate monstrosity.

Dive deep into various undiscovered places without the need to look back or backtrack.

Replayability
Sipho features infinite procedurally generated worlds teeming with life and challenges. Each playthrough will also provide you with different zooids that will further enhance your creature, allowing to try out various playstyles throughout the game.

Your first setup with all the spikes converging was the best idea, and having something to cover your back like a poison sack would be best I think as well. Adding a couple flack/spike shot things in the middle of all the stabber spikes would probably be best for you. The worst thing I have seen in this and other games you have played as well that have enemies is how long you doubt your self and run into corners. While you do that your enemy repairs or moves around to your back or while running or hesitating more enemies show up. Also maybe while you have to talk and explain things for the episode during gameplay maybe go into build mode instead of falling back or taking hits you could have avoided So much stress watching that happen I want to jump in and cover you while you have to run the episode. This game is awesome by the way I would love to see more of it soon.

Not kidding, I think you are the only intelligent player playing this game on KZbin. I've been browsing about 5 or 6 KZbinrs now, and they all seem to not understand(?) the game, making it a really frustrating experience to watch them play. You on the other side understand the building and stats system. Thanks man

Things you might be doing wrong strategically: The primary one is that I think you can rearrange your organism on the fly, even in battle. So if you lose all your weapons, you can sell things you have and become a smaller, more nimble organism. Against the big queen for example, you might sell a bunch of cores and get a buttload of movement speed and poison, and then retreat away from her while puking poison in her face. From watching other youtuber's, the boss that surrounds the entire area can be beaten relatively easily if you swim ahead and cut off its arms right away. The arms are poorly defended and if they're not connected to the head they just rot away. Energy management is probably also very important. It might also be useful to manage projectiles vs melee weapons. You can use melee weapons to keep enemies at arm's reach while barfing projectiles at them. Without melee weapons, the enemy simply closes the distance and eats your projectile weapons.

If you have flak, you should move backwards and attack, so you won't hurt much and do damage.

You would have been fine fighting the hive queen. You were moving away from her projectiles, but she was moving into yours. Kiting your enemies into poison clouds or flak is super effective. The whole charge in with melee give the upper hand to the enemies. But kiting with poison allows you to passively damage enemies who are dumb enough to continue going after you. +the energy regen is amazing. There is a reason why this species starts with poision being it's main utility paired with all encompassing movement + speed boosts.

first of all I'm, not trying to be rood but the whirlpool size doesn't matter, it just when it says you "area clear" the whirlpools get bigger to force to go in.

that first boss you died to you need to kill his minions everytime you kill a wave of minions he uses his parts to build another so you need to kill th minions first and then attack his core and i think you unlocked a new breed
