I’m 4C and have recently gone back to old school products. My hair feels so much healthier and more moisturized😭🙌🏽 Growing up, my mom only used water, Pink lotion, and a lightweight grease on my hair. Murray’s & Jam were reserved for special occasions & picture days😂

Yaaaay. Oh yes, I picked up some Murray’s the other day for nostalgia 🤣

I am so glad you are showing us these old school products. I am tired and over these expensive so called natural hair products that don't do anything for my 4b/c hair. I have been using curl activator gels, sprays, pink lotion and grease with great success. I have gone back to the original old school products and have saved money. Please keep the old school videos coming.

I love old school products and they love me!! Love my hair grease and my Care free gold activater!

Autumn Washington same! However gold activator doesn’t like me 🤣. Although I haven’t tried it as a leave in 🤔

We also referenced dax as hair grease also. DAX was a staple in my house growing up. I'm about to start using it again. My hair was not only long but thick. As an adult it's long but not thick anymore.
@MissLaurenLeigh114 жыл бұрын
It definitely brought the thickness back to my hair.

when you use the pink lotion do you damp your hair first? like it if you need to moisturize mid week?
@MissLaurenLeigh114 жыл бұрын
Hey 👋🏽 Mid week I won’t add anymore water, I’ll just put the pink on any dry parts mainly my ends. I wash my hair every four days, so I don’t usually have to reapply it. 😉
@jazminb88534 жыл бұрын
@@MissLaurenLeigh11 oh ok. Thanks for the information. I wash every 5 days. If I dont my scalp hates me, it's so itchy. Lol
