The hoops in a lot of modern hoop skirts are adjustable. If you feel around the hoops their should be a spot where each hoop goes into itself so that you can basically squeeze the hoop into a smaller shape to fit different dresses better. As a southern bell I’ve worn multiple hoop skirts and ball gowns. I wore a hoop skirt with my wedding dress. It was stunning.

@@CorrieV it’s small on me in the back so I’m getting it tailored bc I have wide shoulders and DDs so I expected it to be a little small and I’m changing out the zipper because it kind of falls on its own other than that the dress is actually so beautiful thank you sm ❤️

That’s the problem I’m having with my daughters dress. The dress I got is too short from the front with hoop on. The dress vendors are from China so how to return it???!!! I’m taking it to a tailor to see if she could do something to it. I’m so bummed out ☹️

You could always cut one of the hoops off and hem the edge! :)

If you measure the length of the hoop from waist to hem then you do the same for the dress, as long as the dresses length is longer than the hoop you should be fine
