Xerath support is a major gamble, against a standard adc/enchanter lane its very difficult to play into in all stages of the game. It was good to see that he kept his cool and followed up whenever he could, though i think the extra lethality from Voltaic Cyclosword helped the most with the last pick on the Samira

having a mage support, like xerath or lux, grief your lane since lvl 1 is one of the most frustrating experiences in this game

I prefer shojin, It feels more powerfull and enemies explote if they are not tanky also the extra damage helps a lot to oneshot enchanter minions and push faster with 1 item

10:30 is why I cant play this build, happens too often. Im probably too used to being tanky too but whats the point of a squishy illaoi

Damage. Typical build illaoi, with 1 item, would still be blown up at that health against diana with ult

@@GSwanno not worth it imo. Your abilities root yourself and your minimum full combo cast time is like 2.5s, you're BOUND to get hit, so it's better to survive those hits and then retaliate than hoping no one hits you so you can kill them. It also doesn't give you the SS heals nor the sterak shield for when your healing really counts (low hp).
