Ooo that turned out great!! I've been wanting to get back into traditional mediums for a while, but unfortunately I just don't have the money or space for it rn :( I will definitely do so sometime in the future tho! I think gouache paint looks especially fun to use. It's so smooth. In the meantime I've been making do with the supplies I do have: pen, colored pencils, and a few paint pens. Not the best but still pretty fun to work with :] You're totally right abt more and more young artists that grow up only using paint as a kid in school- that was my experience! ^^'' Currently I actually draw with my finger on ibis paint on my phone, lol. I used to have a drawing tablet but it broke :( Implied detail, my savior. So many backgrounds of mine are just vague blobs that make sense if you don't look too closely 😅 No such thing as cheating when it comes to art :D mixed media is totally valid, and you can do whatever you want forever ✨ And "digital artists aren't artists" is a silly debate imo. It's like claiming that a woodworker isn't a "real artist" because they can't make pottery. They're totally different mediums, no point in comparing them! "Art" itself is a broad term with no true definition, so just about anything can apply to it ♥️

Art is a broad field indeed, and these people don't realise that had Leonardo da Vinci had access to the technology, he would have been a master digital artist in addition to everything else he was great at. So unimaginative to try to limit what tools an artist is "allowed" to use! We'll do what we want, thank you very much!
