What do you mean detail does not equal rendered? It's confusing to me for some reason. Are you implying rendering is a slow process? Or rendering is different from adding details?

As someone also indecisive about sticker placement I often place stickers on magnet sheets, cut them out and turn vinyl stickers into magnets. So I can stick em on my fridge, car, oven, the chassis of my PC tower, and other metal things in my hone/office

So pretty!! Also as someone who is also indecisive with sticker placement, I have a sticker book with sticker paper pages that allow me to store/display stickers but move or use them later. As for the stickers I want to display to the world, I put them onto a clear laptop case (as opposed to directly onto the laptop itself) so I can swap it out once it fills up. Not sure if you do these already but thought I'd share in case you want to showcase more of your wonderful work :)
