trying out Jones Road WTF

Hey guys hope you guys are ready for the summer! What will you be up to? Just wanted to pop in here and drop a quick review on Jones Road.

Everything looks amazing on you girl! I think this "foundation" was misunderstood from the beginning, like you said it's supposed to be more like a skincare type of product, with the intention of evening the tone of the skin,not to go crazy full coverage, and certainly not for oily skin or combo (we tend to look like a frying pan haha). I love so much your content and mostly yourself. Lots of love from Argentina ❤️❤️❤️. Keep going Nyma🌹🌹🌹

Bobbi always has pandered to more mature women. More mature women have dryer skin and can't get away with full coverage during the day.

I have suuuuper dry skin and I only want a tiny bit of coverage. I love it so much. I love my skin looking wet. And I liked how my cream products applied over it.

It’s basically like a tinted moisturizer/foundation balm and I was on time the reviews honestly could have went better if research how to apply the product was done

THIS! As someone who wears a full face of makeup very rarely, I honestly like the idea of the foundation. It was clear from the beginning that this made for mature skin and people who are more into very natural looks. It's sad, that it got trashed so much by people that won't go for that look in the first place. With that being said, I will stick to my SPF mixed with a few drops of foundation, which gives me the same effect. But thats because Jones Road is totally out of my budget. 😅

Literally you are doing WONDERS for the makeup community. Your videos are so relaxing yet entertaining. My recommendation page is full of makeup creators and you are the first dark skinned creator I’ve come across. I know there are so many people out there who are just beginning to get into makeup but have dark skin and can’t find any tutorials. You should have more subs and views. Do not use heavy moisturizer if Oily Skin. You can use a powder. It's great on Normal & Dry Skin.

I love these videos! its not all relevant to me bc im chicana but its so good to watch beauty reviews from someone whose skin also isnt what media and brands target. Ive all but given up on wearing makeup to avoid looking grey or orange af, def feel the struggle

I would definitely say a NO to this!!! It didn't look radiant it looked greasy or shiny!!! Nyma, regardless of what you apply.... you're gorgeous 👍🏽💕

It's for us people with dry skin, wrinkles, sagging, lines and age over 35. Lol! The older you get the worse full coverage foundation looks in real life in broad daylight. Don't let blurring filters fool you.

This is interesting. I've been trying to think of where I could find like a tinted moisturizer thing, but I think even that is not enough coverage for my face 😅. It seems more sensible to put like on my neck or on my body to keep my skin hydrated throughout the day.

Wat is foundation?... Its something that helps even ur skin out ... the base ...so yea..ppls preference of coverage can be different u don't have to cover ur face if u don't need or want to .. so even if its a tinted moisturizer ... Or low coverage its evening face out so yea... It can be called a foundation

Girl your skin is gorgeous. You don't even need any foundation! But, since you used some, Espresso does look great. I saw Bobbi somewhere recently and she said the foundation is supposed to have that no foundation look. It reminds me of Glossier but with more pigment. You look great. I love the look of that "foundation". I have been looking for something like that for YEARS. I am not a full coverage lady. I do not like the filming in the vertical. I like the horizontal view a lot better. Even if it is just a "quick video" the horizontal view is more pleasing to the eye. Have a good one .

This is for the No Make Up look. *It's an emollient so there's no need for heavy moisturizer* which will make Oily Skin or Combination Skin look Greasy. _It's great for Normal & Dry Skin._ *Only 2 Colors look good on Black skin so far and that is **_Bronze & Tawny._* It Definitely *cannot be layered with other Shiny products.* Sheen looks greasy on Dark Skin. This Product looks nice on Women of Color if the right color is chosen, no heavy moisturizing and don't go heavy-handed with it. Do not Layer it with other emollient products.

this is a luxurious tinted moisturizer. I'd say it is best for those post-menopausal or taking cancer treatments, or any person who is dealing with skin dryness due to body changes. For younger, healthier skin, this might be too emollient. If you live in climates where the winters are brutal, maybe save this for that season. That all said, both shades read beautifully on you via this video.
