I used to love Tarte, but I guess I wasn’t following this closely enough when this happened. However, I unfollowed them a while ago when I noticed their disregard for black people. At the time of the George Floyd protests and the peak of BLM, when every company was donating to black causes, their donation policy was… interesting? Like I don’t remember exactly what it was, but it was something like they would match a tiny amount of what their employees donated, which was also capped. Which to me was like “we can’t be bothered to care, but we’ll pretend to care if our employees do.” Then I looked up Jen’s insta, and saw that she was following and liking some interesting things. I unfollowed them all.

I also have ADHD and I don't think I realized until now that your videos are structured more like the way I think and you talk closer to how I think as well. When I talk with my friends who also have ADHD we bounce back and forth between a bunch of topics and we don't necessarily return to all of them. I think your content and the way you talk feels a lot more like those conversations. I also have a question related to your experience with makeup for darker skin. I know that in photography, the way you contour with lights depends on the skin tone. So for lighter skin tones, you contour with the shadows from less light, but with darker skin tones you contour with the highlights from extra light. I know there is better dark shade availability for contour and such now, but I was just wondering if the photography approach to lighting dark skin would be similar at all to how you contour your face when there's less access to darker shades, as in, using highlighter and concealer as the main tools for contour.

I was diagnosed with ADHD this year too. I take Adderall. It helps me have space in my head to plan and organize my steps.😊 However, I was also diagnosed with PTSD, major anxiety, have had depression for decades due to CSA. I also found out that I am Autistic. I was apparently masking since childhood. Issa lot. 😅 I've been exhausted for decades. Now that I'm getting proper care, I can't mask if I wanted to. 😂 I tick, and speak slowly at times, I have tantrums and meltdowns. Woo. I hope you find a Nurse Practitioner who will prescribe for you. Not being spaced out and hectic has been a huge weight off my shoulders.❤❤❤
