The free sandwich was a sad example of a kaya toast it seems (pandan coconut spread with normally a cold butter slice inside, mostly eaten with soft boiled eggs in a bowl on the side which you mix and usually put white pepper and soy sauce on it, dip the toast in this mix).

The coconut rice dish is nasi lemak (you had it with fried ayam/chicken), the sauce is sambal plus egg, cucumber, fried peanuts and ikan bilis. Sorry but you really know nothing about the food you ordered, ate or reviewed 🙈🤣

So there is no nasi goreng you had nasi lemak (the dish) with ayam goreng (fried chicken). Wrong title 😆

Thank you for your kindness. You might want to try other rotis like roti cenai or nasi dishes? Rendang (like chicken or beef rendang) is always a good choice to accompany rice (like stew).

Btw goreng means often fried/stir-fried in general, nasi is rice, bami/mee are noodles. When ordering roti dishes you often get at least two of: curry dish, dhal, sambal.
