Love your platters!! Try dipping 1/2 and 1/2 with an overlap … really enhances the platter colours!

Omg I wish sooo badly I had seen the is video yesterday!!! I had to sieve 14 gallons of slip yesterday and I had to just use my hands to push it all through!! My gosh this would have helped. But now I know for next time. Your pots are just amazing.

They make the price tags like that so it is difficult for folks to switch tags to steal. So, we all suffer because Eve ate the apple. I get fewer flaws in the rolled slab when I roll it lots of times at very small degrees of increase in the smush. :) (I allow that this is easier for me because I have a Shimpo that rolls both directions. The old, Bailey slab roller that I learned on was a one way. Lots more trouble.)

U are so fkn awesome on camera! Nice job....keep it up.. love the plates and design. How do you not freak out with the impression from the canvas when you roll the design in through the slab roller 😂

I would love to see a video of how you make your glazes. I want to stop using commercial and move to making my own. Are your recipes on Glazy? The platters look great I love how your glazes break over the texture. Also that is a cool grey tone.
@BeardedPottery2 жыл бұрын
Thanks! Most of the glazes I use were from glazy. I have made a couple recipes myself but more just small tweaks to recipes I found online. I’ll try to get a glaze mixing video in the works, I’ve had a few people ask about it.

the price tags rip on purpose. it’s a deterrent - to prevent people from switching price tags or removing them quickly before purchasing an item.

Can you tell me where you got your large texture mat? Ty

The thrift store haha. I like to look for stuff there because I think it’s more unique. It also means that you won’t be able to recreate it if it gets messed up or destroyed in the process but to me that’s kind of the beauty of it. Here for a little while only.
