TRYING OUT RARE BEAUTY'S NEW EYESHADOW PALETTES

I know everyone hate shimmery palettes but they are so pretty for the everyday look on monolids! Matte crease shades need to be blended extremely well on this eyelid type (especially because we don't have a crease) and that takes more effort and can easily be muddy, so just a wash of shimmer makes a quick but glam eye look!

I like doing that too. Just one shimmer or even one matte color blended out on the edges. Otherwise I take forever and don't have time for that most days.

My first reaction to these palettes was “why would anyone want all shimmers?” But the palettes are affordable and small and honestly we all have other matte neutrals we can use with these anyso it’s kinda cool to do something different

Cause for our type of eyelods (yes inclusing selena's) a wash of shimmer shadow is easier and more natural than a wash of matte.

I truly don't mind having an all shimmer pallet. Because I think most people already have a lot of mattes in their collection.

This look is sooo pretty! 😍 I’ve done shimmers in the crease tonnes! Especially shimmery pigments spread really sheer! I tend to blend from the lid up to the brow bone, it looks super editorial and wet! I like using the Hourglass scattered light in reflect! Super pretty! 💕

Can always use a matte bronzer or contour shade in the crease if want a matte transition shade I guess if travelling and only want to take 1 eye palette.
