I used to live in Michigan. There was a pizza joint right down the street from Michigan State University called the Roaring 20s Pizza and Pipes. It was built like an old German beer hall, with the oak beams on the ceiling and big, heavy picnic tables that matched the ceiling beams. One end of the place was dominated by an enormous Wurlitzer pipe organ and the walls were lined with all sorts of bells and xylophones and drums and horns and whatnot, and the organ player could control it all. The music was FANTASTIC and so was the pizza. Sadly, the internet tells me it isn't there anymore. There's still one or two of these things left in America, and if you can get to one, I HIGHLY recommend it. The organ player could do anything from Chopin to the theme from "Rocky". There's a few videos of this sort of restaurant as well.

​@@BrutishYetDelightful That sounds amazing! So sorry to see places fade out. Restaurant business is not easy and their profit margin is slim. Keeping it going is another story. One of my favorite places that was family owned. Grandparents opened the business. Generation two, mom and dad take over. Generation three, their kids take the reins. Generation four, not the least bit interested. So they sold the business lock, stock and barrel. The land went with it. New people tried to modernized the place. Flopped miserably. They ran it into the ground and went bankrupt. Nothing in the area is even remotely close to that caliber. If I was young, I would have given it a try as I knew what the people wanted.

OMGGGGGG Jen, the Provoleta appetizer looked fabulous. The dinners looked really good too as I’m a chicken parm person being 100 percent Italian. Have you guys ever tried the spinach artichoke dips at Olive Garden and Longhorn? My daughter and I order it every time we go. They’re 2 of our favorite places to eat. The food is always consistent. Food is soo much fun, right?? Have fun🥳🥳

You have such amazing restaurants. Where I live, we do not have great restaurants. I live in the mountains with few job opportunities, so people open restaurants without experience and the food is awful. If I were to drive to Phoenix, there are great restaurants, especially in the Scottsdale area.

That was a generous appetizer. More bread than any restaurant I have been to. Unusual to have portions of an appetizer to bring home. 😂 I love dining with you guys, wish it could happen for real. I live in East TN too, so if you head east sometime you may run into my granddaughter having lunch in the area. We like the Texas Roadhouse, just over the state line into VA. Also love the Longhorn Steakhouse in Kingsport. You two are so cute and sweet. BUT, you always make me hungry. 🤭😉

Love that cheese stretch Rich and Jen! I completely understand the eating out and trying to get a healthier option. It's hard with so many food reviews. We sometimes have the issue of wanting the same dish and wanting to show the viewers something different. You definitely can tell when places make things from scratch.
