Nice informative video of the pedal. unless I missed something, it would be extremely helpful to demonstrate one take without the effects for comparison.

Thanks for the feedback. I will definately keep that in mind with future videos. I appreciate it.

Hi so how do you connect this to an electric guitar/amp that only has one channel. Right now i have it connected to my Fishman Loudbox Artist that has two channel/ Thank you.

The pedal has an instrument thru, so I would go from the guitar, to the harmony singer, then out the inst thru to your effects/amp/di. Since it uses what your are playing on the guitar to identify the key, it can work on the clean tone directly from your guitar.

Question : when i don't need the " choir" , and i'm singing as soloist, does the reverb works anyway or does it work ONLY if i'm using the harmonies? Thank you so much. Patrick from Italy 👋

Yes. The footswitch toggles between harmony+reverb+tone, reverb+tone, and tone only

Great Video. With these TC pedals, do you know if can you control the effect when monitoring? As in, can you separate the mix for floor monitors, and front of house?
@bandadvicetv4 жыл бұрын
Thanks. The guitar in/out is not part of the mix in the vocal in/out. So if your board allows it, you can control the monitor mix between the guitar and vocals, but the mix between lead and harmony vocals is solely mixed on the pedal.

@@bandadvicetv Thanks for the reply. I appreciate it. Reason I asked was I am looking at getting the TC VoiceTone E1 Delay pedal for vocals. Do you know if the delay mix can be separated for the monitors, without affecting the front of house delay mix? Because I don't think TC pedals can run through an Aux on a board. Hope that makes sense. Thanks again.

Sorry, I havent looked into the VoiceTone, if you decide to get it, I’d love know what you think of it. Thanks

Is this setup without a guitar amp?
@bandadvicetv Жыл бұрын
Yes, in this case the guitar is going in to the pedal solely for the purpose of identifying the key, but i’m micing it instead of going out of the guitar passthrough to an amp or board. If you normally plug your guitar into an amp or di, then you’d come out of the harmony singer into those.

Sounds processed. Sort'a like a chorus pedal that isn't working right.
@bandadvicetv3 жыл бұрын
Yeah, just like with autotune or pitchshifters, theres that sweet spot where it really adds to it, but go beyond it, it starts to sound fake. Thanks for tuning in

Mmmm. I think it sounds great, just that some settings aren't as effective as others. Like most pedals, I expect you find one or two settings you like, and don't go near 95% of them because they sound weird. The one or two that do work are what matter. In fact, in an ideal world you just pick one set of settings that improve your performance, work with your voice and don't sound processed (like the first couple in this video) then simply click the pedal on and off. Happy days.

Exactly. You’re not going to get The Eagles harmonies out of it, but using it subtly, it can add some body and fullness to your vocals
