Cathleen those colours!!!!!!! So beautiful. That little bit of beige went a loooooong way haha. I love all of the earth tones so for me this is definitely a winner, not than any of your others are not winners too. That new pouring medium looks like it would save a lot of time and confusion especially for beginners. I wonder if it is available here in the UK. Will have to check that out. Hey this is very nice! Every time you pour out one of those ring pours and elongate it in a direction I am always anxious for it to go into the pattern you have in mind! It takes on a certain shape that is anatomical for a man, so to see it turn into a beautiful design is always a relief while but I'm just now noticing. I'm thinking a granddaughter name! Anyway, beautiful painting as always. My MIX is ordered but of course I had to pay for mine and its not a inexpensive as Floetrol for sure. I'll use it sparingly but I really wanted to try it out. Oh and I wanted to tell you about a color (not a metallic) that is gorgeous. It is Matisse from Blick's and it is Southern Ocean Blue and it is the color of Mysterious without the mica powder. It's a tiny bit greener than Golden's Turquoise(Pthalo) and is positively gorgeous!!! I used it today with some of the Art Alchemy Mermaid Sparkle, Liquitex Turquoise, Arteza Pearlized Hot Pink (never showing its face) and Pebeo Iridescent Green Yellow also not showing its face. Oh, used gold too but wish I had thrown some copper in there now. It looks kinda beach like because I added too much white (that stuff takes over) but those dark, dark teal colors of that Souther Ocean Blue is unmistakable and striking. I bought mine in their Structure line but they have it in their fluid Flow-type with low viscosity as well as many other colors. I got some of their Australian Salmon Gum and Australian Blue Gum as well. I take it that it's made in Australia. Way to go with this painting Cathleen. It's a keeper for sure!

I loved dealing with Krista and Debbie , they were always available to answer the questions I had. However I had tons of bubbles when I mixed my paints up. So I let them rest and came back. I like you prefer my paints thins so I did water my MIX down. When I came back and stirred again, I still had lots of bubbles. I ended up torching more than normal but in the end it dried okay. I plan to play around with it a bit more.

At time 9:31, I immediately saw an image of a face....semi profile...Grey shaded area with small black dot for his left eye. Where the white and grey meet near the "eye", I see a brow line; his nose is the grey that drops down; the mouth was where the cluster of cells were...his left shoulder was the arched rings. Love your work.

Your art is absolutely gorgeous!! What are the 2 sticks you keep your canvas on and what do you do with the excess paint? I always feel so bad to waste all the drippings.

Hello there. The sticks are just wood trim pieces cut to fit on my tray. Nothing waisted. The drippings are all scooped up and put in a plastic container with a lid. I add black paint to it and use it to prime my canvases. 😊🎨
