I had gotten my rack mount stuff about 15 years ago... I got that same DB meter under the 'Stanton' name and seems that's just produced under a bunch of different names. Wasn't crazy that they double up the LEDs. The Berhinger Ultracurve ended up being the best addition to my setup. That thing is so incredibly versatile and has many visualizations. You can also completely change the sound and soundstage of your music and it can run pure digital... awesome piece.

this video is exactly what i've been looking for. most people use this on pre-outs / loops, but i want to use it on my preamp's line out. since i want to see how hot of a signal i'm sending to my power amp, i wanted to know how these devices perform with a low level signal from what i've seen using low signals, the technical pro db meter is the most accurate. however it's actually a power strip, so it has no xlr connections, which made it useless for me. the american audio db meter has the worst sensitivity of all the videos i've seen. the t.racks unit has decent enough accuracy for my needs thanks for the video!
