25:04 I don't even think she can use them. She might be doing it to handicap Mel. 56:12 Moros' voice sure does things to me. His eyes as well. 57:12 Eris just wants to stir the pot. I think on some level she cares about Melinoë, and actually wants her to see it the way she sees it: That the world needs to be shaken up, lest things get too stale. She doesn't take sides, she just wants everyone to keep fighting and entertain her. 1:03:16 go to the Master. Well done on the skulls. Medea was different for sure, but entertaining in a way. I hope they add more dialogue for Arachne, and maybe a mission for her as well. I can only imagine what she'd want.

She seems to imply that she can when first asked for my boon. Also if I recall, these boons are more like one-way calls, although they can vaguely make out where you're currently at. Hmm. Moros's eyes are nice. Also, Eris's, uh oh. I agree with your read on Eris, especially that she takes a liking to Mel and wants to challenge her beliefs. Clash in ideologies. The Master is all I need to know. I must go... my Master... Thanks! and I'm confident there's more dialogue for Arachne. Where I left off from the Testing, she actually mentions the goddess that cursed her. So, far as I know, even the Testing has juicy dialogue already.

It seems you can equip Narcissus's keepsake in the postboss rooms before you drink from the fountain, which basically upgrades one of your boons for free

if I recall, the keepsakes and charon well open after you drink the fountain, meaning, I don't think that's possible sadly. I almost wanted to try it! then I remembered that's the case. if I play a run, I'll edit this if I'm wrong! ^

Wait, I was wrong. I played one run and wow! So, either this changed from Hades 1, but you can change keepsakes before the fountain now. Thx hjt!

Yay! More Hades II, I always adore your content! Keep up the good work! You made those Skulls work! Honestly the skull is probably my least favorite weapon, I was never good at ammo management 😅, so I'm glad to see someone taking them to the max! But I ask once again to please give my boi Moros some luv, he's gotten not a drop of Nectar yet. Also, am I right in saying that Hephestus has the worst mana regen? Idk, I don't like the thought of having to get hit in order to get Mana back.

Thanks Nico! Skulls is probably the weirdest weapon as someone mentioned. And we haven't even seen the last weapon that's locked from early access. I'm still wondering what to do with them, because I'm lucky with Aspect Medea, it works similarly to a weapon from Hades 1, so I already had the skeletons figured out. LOL I'm looking into the future as we speak, and I think Moros shall have his drink very soon! I say you're right ^ it's a tie between Aphrodite and Hephaestus for me. At the same time, I find myself not using the Apollo mana regen similarly as much as I used to back in testing.. hmm.

I feel like there's a second "real" endgame hiding behind Chronos. It feels like the game is foreshadowing a permanent change in the status quo, post-Chronos.

you know, I'm glad I'm not crazy then because I was thinking the same. Chronos keeps hyping that the inevitable is coming, as if he hasn't already executed his plans, that it's still underway? Uh oh, at the same time, bring it gramps!

It's possible, don't forget that there's a sealed doorway near Eris's hangout in the crossroads, who knows where it may end up leading.

Eris drinking the bath water... Moros' voice *is* very soothing, I bet he'd appreciate some nectar so he doesn't get parched 💦 Also Nem and Artemis used to be a thing then? I was not expecting that 🤔I hope we get more info on that

0:15 I wonder if/when Athena will be added to the game (if I'm remembering correctly, Supergiant stated that all of the gods from the first game will be in this game as well) 4:05 Speaking of Athena, once she's in the game, I'm sure there will be dialogues regarding her and Arachne. 4:38 I knew from having seen her in other people's runs. 19:00 You know, it was basically stated during the first encounter with Narcissus that they stuff he gives you is stuff others gave him before. So there have been people who, as a token of affection, gave Narcissus Boons from the gods. 23:00 I just noticed, the Tiny Vermin is summoning enemies that were encountered in Tartarus in the first game. 24:55 Yes, she did. Which is unfortunate because, from what I've noticed, Hera's boons are generally Earth element, which would have boosted your Infusion boon from Hephaestus. 39:40 Ugh, there so cursed. I hate the finger teeth. 56:13 A bit, yeah, his voice is pretty soothing, which is rather interesting coming from the personification of Doom. 57:45 Wait, what happened last time? 1:03:12 Wish I could help in that regard, but I have no idea how to get Dark for the Aspect of Thanatos. Though I do know it is obtainable, because I've seen a video with someone wielding it.

Ooh, I didn’t know the devs confirmed this! Dionysus in battle attire would be sick. And Ares and Athena at their best during war. You know, I feel the flowers and other materials were the actual gifts, and the boons were to make Narcissus rooms good. But I could also believe he managed to receive boons LOL. Can’t catch a break with Nem, I was excited to hear they talk. Oh but i love the finger teeth. But I’ll end them quick for you Digi. I ended up getting Dark rather recently! It’s as they said below, from the Master!

Re: Arachne I'm aware that she seems very upset about no longer being human, but I wonder if part of her wants to stay that way after being like that for so long? Perhaps her character arc would include her finding peace with her eight-legged form, rather than becoming human again. I'm very interested in how this will all play out. Re: Hephaestus' shop comment A dress with no pockets? How absurd! At least Mel has her purse to carry all the items she finds. Re: Narcissus I find it very interesting that he seems willing to make peace with Echo. Does he actually want her to feel better about her broken heart, or does he only want Mel to fix the water? I guess we'll see. Re: Scylla and Charybdis I wonder if Scylla will say anything about you encountering Charybdis, considering the fact they're affiliated in mythology. Scylla even mentions Charybdis in I Am Gonna Claw (Out Your Eyes And Drown You To Death). Although I don't know how specifically they're related, this means I have some reading to do.

- This actually makes sense about Narcissus! I'm sure he's a decent guy, but sounds to me he'll just go back to staring at himself after the waters are purified, leaving Echo a fresh scar. Or! Echo could get some closure before Narcissus returns back to Oceanus? Depends on if the game wants to dramatize this further lol. - I do think we'll get some mentions between Scylla and Charybdis. The writers would be fools otherwise! Regarding Arachne, for those unaware of Hades 1, spoilers: -H -I My initial read on helping Arachne was that ^ She actually is an even better weaver as a spider than her human form. Yet, she still suggests her prime was when she was mortal. Does she truly hate her spider form, or does she just want reparations or some apology from the gods? She's been going back and forth between that, so likely both. In Hades 1, Sisyphus eventually gets freed from his sentence. BUT, because of his development with Bouldy, he chooses to stay. Which resolves the dilemma over why he remains in the game for future runs. I used to think Arachne would leave Erebus if she turned back into a human, which would complicate future runs. But now, I think she'll stay for a reason I don't think was said during my early access runs, related to her lifelong ambitions. I predict they'll be shades roaming in the same room we meet Arachne once she opens her business. Whether she is fine with others seeing her as a spider is up to her.
