whole x7% series (17,27,37,47,57,67) is too much sweet... try x2% series (22,32,42,52,62,72%), they are much better in my opinion. also black one, 52% is "classic" one, without any additional flavour. and finally, also 3rd series exists (just two flavours of 35% both) that are completely sugar-free. if you would like to try it someday, try dark-green one, brown one is too bitter :)

They are indeed relly sweet. Even though they might not have strong alcohol taste, you can get drunk very easily drinking these because yeah, you don't feel like you are drinking alcohol. The only one I like is the standard black one (52%). I got really confused in the end actually. You said you do not like sweet alcohol but then you drank something like cola after that? Eww. I'd say drinking anything sweet after alcohol is even worse than sweet alcohol itself. :D
@Mrkva222963 жыл бұрын
The most staple TatraTea in Slovakia is the black one - the black one is the original one and it's 57%. It's not too sweet, tastes more herbal..... Actually, that's the thing people seem to like with Tatratea that you don't really feel the strenght, which can be kinda tricky because then you'll have too much and get drunk. The strongest tatratea is 72% and it's the grey bottle. Never had that one. The mild ones often have this nickname they are "for women" because of that sweet sirupy taste. They are teas, after all. They're not called tatratea by an accident :P

I always considered tatratea as alcohol for tourist. If you want strong alcohol, do not drink colored alcohol, but rather clear alcohol made of apples (jablkovica), pears(hruskovica), plums(slivovica), apricots(marhulovica). 67% - not so strong. OMG, what do you usually drink? Sulfuric acid? 💥 ~50% is considered standard there as homemade (you have to make it in official distillery from your fermented fruit) drinks are made to 52%. But I agree with those 3 least liked - should I want something in that league I'd go for wine instead. Several local drinks taste like cough syrup - that is IMHO historical as some old remedies were made from herbs soaked in ethanol solution. Similar are made in several European countries. Becherovka from Czech republic would me probably the most famous one.
