BANGKOK, THAILAND - In this video, The Foodie TV visited Mark Wien's restaurant in Bangkok called Phed Mark in Ekkamai right off the BTS station. This restaurant specializes in pad kra pao (ผัดกะเพรา), a Mark Wiens all time favorite dish. This dish is a combination of stir fried chilies, garlic, protein, and the most essential that distinguishes it from all other dishes - kra pao (holy basil in English). Pad kra pao can be found all over Thailand and there are many variations of it. A beloved street food, here at Phed Mark, they offer several different protein options as well as spice levels. We came here to conquer the spiciest level, level 5.

The recommended level 3 but it’s too spicy (I usually eat Mala hotpot), it covers all the flavour of the dish. So me and most of my friends that have been to this shop recommend that level 2 is just nice
