Trying The Atta Kneader Attachment For Wet Grinder

Trying out the dough kneader attachment on my 13year old Ultra Pride Plus wet grinder, 2ltr capacity.
On my quest for a dough kneader, found this little attachment. It’s sturdy, heavy duty and well made.
It fits the bill and attaches to the appliance I already own, saving $$$ and space in the kitchen.

LOL...Is the singing must after we finish every kneading!? why don't you try some small quantities at least in the beginning. Seems you must be the lover of anything big in sizes. But i luv the way you did the whole thing. With the person like you and your hubby will have a fun life on everyday with great cleaning works. Thank you for watching! If you can find the one that has 3 rotors, instead of two, I think that will be best as with 3 rotors, I am thinking, it will help the dough rotate better without us pushing it around and kneads well. This one is ok, I’m still using it though.

​@@AmruthamAkhilaIntlo I'm not sure weather we can get this in Singapore. Let me try and let you know. and time being i take one roller stone out from that grinding unit. So, one will act like a handle and other stone will act like a roller to roll the dough. And most importantly that dough is hitting between stones and it's makes the dough so soft....Necessity is the mother of invention. Hahahaha!!!

Hello. You can start with 2.5cups of water and slowly add more if needed. It really depends on the texture, brand and quality of the Atta. Heavily processed maida needs much less water than whole grain. I know you were looking for a precise answer, sometimes with dough, the ratio I suggest might not work for your Atta. So start with less water always and keep adding to attain the desired consistency. Hope that helps! 🙏

Thanks a lot for the video. Will try bread dough this way. Have been looking for a stand mixer since a long time but kept it delaying due to heavy price. This investment looks reasonable. Does it work for high hydration dough? Say up to 70% of water? Do let me know.

Nuzycom, the one in the video is 2 liters. It is available online from various stores including Amazon. I bought the Atta kneader separately from gandhiappliances.com. That dough was for bread, it needs to be softer than chapathi/roti dough so I added more water. The amount of flour I added was too much for this size of the drum though 😅. 3-4cups of flour is working great in this grinder.
