@@rajniskitchen3349 Hi. I’ve never used any store bought mix for this, so I’m sorry I won’t be able to recommend any. It’s an easy ratio to remember. 1tsp instant yeast for 1c flour. Just make sure the yeast is active (I have posted a video on how to test yeast on my channel). Good quality flour, active yeast and warm water will never go wrong. Hope this helps!

I am a UK Prepper, currently sorting out my stock, which includes some small tins of dried yeast in a ring-pull can. They are 6.5 years old but, unlike my more recently bought 7g packs, I have not kept them frozen. I have spoiled several loaves of bread over several years, meaning 4 hours wasted baking time/ingredients, probably due to using faulty yeast. I will now test some from both packs, so this tip will be very useful in the future to avoid waste, electricity and frustration. Thank you.

For 6 cups flour , could you please tell how many cups of water ? TIA
@AmruthamAkhilaIntlo2 жыл бұрын
Hello. You can start with 2.5cups of water and slowly add more if needed. It really depends on the texture, brand and quality of the Atta. Heavily processed maida needs much less water than whole grain. I know you were looking for a precise answer, sometimes with dough, the ratio I suggest might not work for your Atta. So start with less water always and keep adding to attain the desired consistency. Hope that helps! 🙏
