For those not climbing in NYC, GP81 is highly praised for several reasons. Firstly, it's a community-driven gym, so the routes are often set up by regulars and others climbers. That aspect makes the environment totally different than other gyms. Other than that, most of the expert boulderers in NYC go to GP81 due to its technical difficulty. If you're looking for challenging, technical climbs GP81 is the place to go.

But to watch climbing gives me inner peace and calm amusement. Five stars for Midtbø and his style, calm dry Norwegian humor - and for his willpower and hunger to manage and get things done. Never boasting - more focused on achieving, try, try and making it without faking it! The Norse is also really good at saluting other people. For sure one of the finest athletes from Norway - tusen takk! Inspiring, cool, smart, focused, laid back, strong - with big love to manage and get stuff done. Applause and ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
