Winter's Beauty - yeah, it drives me nuts when I watch a review of a light coverage product and someone uses half a bottle over a plastic primer, coats it in powder and doesn’t like it. 😂

Exactly not everyone likes full coverage using the drag queen makeup techniques calling it glam or instagram look. I seriously think some of the big gurus have facial dysphoria because they keep layering on makeup, botox, lip fillers, Groucho Marx eyebrows, etc. to the point where they look nothing like themselves. Makeup no longer is "fun" nor is "better version of themselves". ... It's about looking like they're going to the club or bar trying to hook up with a sugar daddy.

Just in case you’re sensitive to it, there’s coconut oil in the primer as well as the coconut water. It isn’t in the tinted moisturizer or mist, but if it breaks you out I’m just letting you know!

I’ve SO been waiting for your review. Most I’ve seen are from people who use more full coverage products so they try to build up coverage and end up with a greasy mess. But you are a light coverage girl like me so your opinion is so helpful!!

Thank you for actually reviewing this as a tinted moisturizer! I’ve seen several reviews now of ladies talking about it like a foundation. Comparing it to foundations and criticizing the coverage… coverage does not define the quality of a product, and not every product is supposed to be for coverage! I personally love to do moisturizer type products and that is all I wear for complexion evening over my Altruist SPF. It sounds like one I should definitely try! Thanks for the review!

I have oily skin and I set the tinted moisturizer with a translucent setting powder and it holds up all day. So much better than the Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer. Also, awesome editing Jess 👏🏻

I received this yesterday and I actually ordered the right shade in the Pretty Fresh HA tinted moisturizer. I ordered medium 10N and is the same shade as too faced peach perfect in nude or too faced born this way in nude. I am wearing it this way and I like it. I applied it with my fingers and dabbed it with a damp sponge. I wore sunscreen underneath. I did not set it with powdered. My skin is dry.

I have the Missha which I got from Amazon. It is nice and thick but one thing I don't remember you mentioning is the fragrance. It has a very strong perfume scent. It does not linger but it is very strong going on.

Love your review! ✨I also wanted to let others know that if you sign up for updates from Missha that they run great sales quite often AND they often give you nice samples of their other products with your order. I got two samples I loved when I ordered my BB cream 😊. I prefer light coverage most of the time, even on my 40 year old sun damaged skin 😆, so I’m glad to see your review with knowing you don’t usually wear heavy coverage. My skin feels like it cannot breathe and gets itchy with full coverage, and I prefer to look more like “me.”

Im going to give this tinted moisturizer a try. I’m bummed it doesn’t have any SPF. I like to have that extra added spf to double up because typically tinted moisturizer days mean im outside and always love doubling up on SPF!

I like the tinted moisturizer from Colourpop is very nice. Very moisturized on my dry aging skin. Have light coverage due to it is a tinted moisturizer so it even out my skin. It not long lasting because it not foundation. It looks beautiful on you. Thanks for the review. You’re awesome 👍🏻

ELF makes a hyaluronic primer that I really enjoy. It’s $6, feels moisturizing and I think has the slightest blurring effect.

I’ll have to try this. Ever since I’ve bought that Shea moisture pressed serum you recommended, I feel like my skin is better and that I can wear a lighter coverage product. I love this stuff, especially since I don’t need a lot of coverage. I’m going to be 40 next year and I’ve noticed a lot more texture and dryness in my skin, so regular foundation looks awful. This tinted moisturizer gives me a natural, even, and soft/non-powdery look. I have makeup on but it doesn’t look like it. It’s going to be perfect in winter when I can’t use powder foundations anymore. I probably have to set my nose with something because that’s usually the first part to go after a long work day.

So far I’ve found the tinted moisturizer to be surprisingly drying. It shows dry patches. It’s pretty though. I’m trying with a good moisturizer under it.

I bought the whole set and then I took a 2 mile dog walk and it looked awful. BUT when I squirted the primer a ton came flying out and I put it all on my face so it was super slippery AND I forgot to use the spray 😩😩😩 So definitely going to try again. I really liked the way it looked right at first when I put it on though.
