For anyone that thinks the paddle design looks weird its not difficult to press. I wasnt sure how it would be prior to using it, basically instead of covering both back buttons on each side with different fingers like most rear button controllers you put one finger inbetween the two buttons and either press down to actuate the one or press up to actuate the other. Its actually a great design i just wish they added another button below it to have 3 on each side (and they'd all be easy to press)

As far as performance goes the reflex definitely delivers . The big issue I have is that if anything goes wrong with the internal mods then the only option you will have is to send it back to scuf as they DO NOT sell any of the replacement parts and you cannot really sub them with aftermarket either . So this rules out either fixing it yourself ,if you’re inclined, or getting it fixed quickly at a local tech repair shop . You will have to send it back to scuf where the turnaround can be weeks or even months

Very true. i have a controller from AimController. They offer lifetime warranty so I know it can be fixed but... It takes up to 30 business days for it to get fixed. Solution to that is to have a spare back up controller I guess.

@@vyvynylification that’s exactly what I do ( have 2 controllers) but as with any controller that is played heavily wear and tear will occur and repair will be required and having to send it off and wait a month or more is very frustrating. Not to mention if warranty is expired or voided because of whatever then each trip to scuf can run over 100.00 ( controller costs 250-300) .

Just bought the dualsense edge for 216$ from gamestop on the other side of my town yesterday. The deal breaker was learning that the scuf has the same probability of getting stick drift as the dual sense, because they’re the same exact module!.. I had to buy a $80 replacement, after the left stick got left drift BAD… my PS5 was delivered from BB early March. I end up getting the exact same stick drift the exact same direction. I can’t even get back to lobby for like 45-100 seconds cause it’s fluttering between yes and no… I was sold on the scuf. Deadass. Wrote off the edge; why 200 for only two paddles? When 330-350 (realistically 420+ with all the accessories I wanted lol) for 4, yeah FOUR paddles? Well, I’ve never had paddles. And tbh I never had stick drift on my ps4, ps3,ps2 or 360.. so this is all new to me. Anyways, the deal breaker was obviously that the little stick modules just pop out like nobody’s business, they even have a freaking spot in the carrying case for the spare! It’s /they’re $19.99… and lord have mercy now I don’t have to baby my sticks! (Or mash them before the warranty runs out lol) oh, and I keep my sanity whilst waiting for 2-3 weeks checking the mail everyday. I can now jump, switch mode, catch myself on a ramp with a wall, and back to my weapon in uno momento… and for real, let’s be real what do the haters have to say? Low battery life? Lmao it comes with a lock on the cable, and its 10 ft longer than I already need! It weights more? Well, I guess if we were men in ancient times I would definitely be the guy who prefers the heavier sword? Hahahah a few grams haha … two less paddles? I literally just played with a streamer this morning who has the Xbox elite nd their bindings are sprint, jump, pickaxe and… wait for it … EMOTE! I couldn’t make this up, this is my life, believe it. Sorry, not sorry… I got a series X also and tbh it may just be that I am more familiar with the Sony dpad/ parrellellel (idc how it’s spelled) configuration..? I ran FN hundreds of times on it.. was an honest scientific experiment I had due to the fact that it was the only thing in stock atm & the ps5 took a few weeks to arrive and get my psn login (fml Sony omg fu fr) but then my stupid Sony 43” 120hz 4k only recognized the PS as a game (game mode - dimmed colors - so I preferred the X tbh because it was more vibrant colors (literally the name of the mode also I think) and this is getting long. Look, I apologize if I’m incorrect here but in my final -current? - analysis I don’t see PlayStation enthusiasts hating on Microsoft, but I see a lot of Xbox guys just loving to hate on Sony. I hate what they’ve done with they’re customer service I’ll say that. I love both my consoles they both do the same 120 4k and yeah I adjusted my color settings without FN colorblind lol… idk why I’m taking all this time typing this on my stupid iPhone, lol, are the android people going to.. lol - jk - but tbh the much more skilled/better fn streamer I played with this morning is still on a ps4 & no just a stock controller… he doesn’t so extravagant builds showing off lol just the basics and damn it’s actually MORE impressive now that I get it! Also two paddles is never enough. Idc what anyone says. For that amount two paddles is a rip off. Plus using that controller on pc is kind of useless unless you have a ps5, luckily I do. But still I think it’s not a good option imo

Also the FPS ( mouse click ) mod trigger is poorly made out of fragile plastic and breaks easily after rigorous play . This is also the most expensive mod as well . I would steer clear of the fps and either stick with the base or the pro model ( grip)

Hello, could someone possibly help me with my problem: I bought a SCUF Reflex for PS5/PC. I had an issue like this and there is a way to pair the controller. First fo to the Bluetooth settings on your pc click on it to scan for Bluetooth. Go to your PS scuf and hold the share and ps/scuff button for like 5-10 seconds until the light blinks a few times. This means you are in pair mode. You should then see the controller on your PC. Sorry I'm late just saw the vid

@Diaijxow nah it was super easy to get use to because you use the same fingers to hit the 2 inner paddles. It's hard to describe I tried like a good 6 different pro controllers it's the best one. Ones like Elite 2, scuf Instinct pro, hex ps5, fusion 2, aim, etc. Reflex is legit hella natural I got use to it like 20 minutes in

Here's a tip if claw hurts. It normally hurts if you hold the controller wrong. I say you keep your controller on a flat surface like on a table and play claw. I felt no pain when playing like this. just give it a try 👍

Sooo I just purchased this and let me tell you..first my finger gushes blood after trying to remove 2 back paddles. Their SO TIGHT bro. Cheapest sht material ever. The thumbstick removal is PATHETIC you literally open a cheap plastic cover and reveal the insides of the damn controller..what kind of design is that? Ultimately im keeping it because im tired looking for controllers but $249 is BS it’s easily worth $99-150 MAX. Pissed me off 😂 oh and the “mouse” triggers are over hyped, the time to click is the same as the Elite 2. Dont burn cash to have that feature.
