Trying the Oneleaf Commander NV400 on the range

I fitted the Oneleaf Commander NV400 onto my Bergara BMR 22lr, and took it out on the range to see how good or bad it is.

Would an ND filter work on the lens? In photography I use and ND filter that will work as an sun shade to make long exposure possible during the day

I have built in ND filters on my video camera, and yes they do make a difference. Might be able to attach one on the front, the lens shade it comes with is just ridiculous.
