Maaan.... this popped up on my notifications, hovered over it for a sec, muted, and saw the fret-hand movement. IMMEDIATELY knew what track we were getting (Think I've worn the Czech Guitar Clinic video with Nick Johnston into the floor at this point xD). Pickups and overall sound are tight! Chunky and with little-to-no loss of clarity. This was my gateway into your music and, I swear, hooked. The RETROSPECIAL test-press is pride of place on my rack. Fan for life, right here.

With all the little details and nuances i still love it. BTW this is the one for me that got me into 7’s back in 2009. It’s like the “quad machine” track from quake 2 which also made me lose my sh*t and become a metal addict for life. It’s a milestone and you’re a living dj0nt god sir. 🖤🤘🏻

Sounds sick! Love the Nazgûl, will have to check out the rail version. EVH 4x12 cab with the g12EVHs is my favorite cab I own. No disrespect to my 1960a cabs but the EVH cabs and speakers, while not at all unknown, somehow fly under the radar. Sound amazing and have tons of resonance. Great alternative to the mesa oversized thing.

I actually came looking for the song, and discovered there's a new Nazgul/Sentient variant. Makes sense you play this one - the whole point was to allow us to compare different pickups. But an A/B with the original Nazgul/Sentient and the new ones through the new signal chain would have been awesome. SD should pay you for that. (I need to buy another guitar for my Nazgul - I ended up pairing the Sentient with the Pegasus. Just better suited what I was playing at the time.)
