the mushroom-cream cheese combo is actually quite common here in switzerland. we don‘t eat them raw though, usually they‘re being barbecued or you could also cook them in the oven for a couple minutes :) it‘s even better if you have a cream cheese with herbs or spices in it!

A really unusual combination I got from a food scientist on tiktok was asparagus and potato chips and it actually tastes incredible. I tried a few ways and my favorite is pan frying some cut up green asparagus and add a few hand fulls of lightly crushed up salted chips at the end before serving. It works because they both share a chemical that makes up the taste.
