Yes and no - it is an alternate Hyrule, but it's also its own land; folks from Termina mention things and places from Hyrule, and Darmani is carved into one of the mountains in Goron City in Breath of the Wild.

Remember to talk to the bombers! They'll give you hints to help you collect all there is. Also I would LOVE to see you go back to previous Zelda games and 100% them. You've inspired me to 100% botw (master mode) and I have about 250 koroks left :) I believe the deku scrub at 8:23 will give you a bigger bomb bag if you have the big bomb bag. Don't remember if you already got it yet. You need to race the beavers twice to get the heart piece.

Bombers don't do anything after giving you the Notebook in the N64 version. It's only in the 3DS version that they'll tell you "rumors" for finding stuff.

@@ExileTwilight Yeah, and I actually already beat it. My strat was too save weapons by using circle bombs, changing to cube bombs while the circle bomb reloads. It stops them from regenerating health and since I have bombs + the reload time is pretty quick

Watching you delve into the Zelda franchise and really truly enjoy the games for what they are is really entertaining and somehow gratifying as one of those ‘kids’ you’ve called out in the past who played these games at 8,9,10 years old. I’ve watched other Zelda playthroughs but often they feel the same as any other generic playthrough that person may have done where the player appreciates the experience without dipping into the fandom or going too deep but the way you pay attention to the lore and the worlds and endear to anything and everything is really authentic and enjoyable to follow along with, rather than a chore or short-lived curiosity. I don’t really read too far into the comments but your frequent watchers also seem surprisingly well behaved with the spoilers and stuff. Anyway! It’s been a joy binge watching you go through all these games I grew up with with a childlike wonder and appreciation and I have huge respect for that Edit: Also your humour is great and the way you make an enjoyable experience and/or story out of anything, even if it’s normally bland in its lonesome (*cough* koroks*) is the best kind way to enjoy things imo

I've always loved to 100% Zelda games because the side quests are usually neat little puzzles or hidden areas. Some are a pain (*cough* Koroks) but still give you a chance to explore places that you may not have visited or mechanics that were underused. Tips of the day: There's 4 heart pieces that you will find at the same place than the last mask. Don't try to have full 20 hearts before challenging skull kid. You said you were not there for the bottle, but I'd say that getting all the bottles is required to have 100%. Same goes with upgrades like big quiver, bomb bag etc.. And the final item

What's happening with the Postman's minigame is that the postman counts to three to start Link off on the right rhythm. He says himself that the flopping ears of the bunny hood are distracting to him, and when you wear it during the minigame he forgets to stop counting. Also, I think the postman has some kind of pneumonic device for setting the rhythm of counting seconds that he forgets to do on top of forgetting to stop counting when you wear the bunny hood, because without it the timer has two decimal places, and with it there's only the one.

Loving these lets plays. Don't forget you can upgrade your bomb bag a few times. And your quivers. I think you can get another heart piece by racing the beavers a second time (so 4 times total in a day cycle).

You can totally get the Keatan to show up in the other grass patch! Any that have ghrass that "runs" will pop them up! This makes me think if they're also in the pre-game area! (Before you fall down into Termina!) Also, you should go back to the beavers and race the big brother beaver! Good job with the heart piece collection today! Btw this is random. If you want to see a small detail that can be easily missed. You should swing by the Observatory on final day, and take a look at Skull Kid! (It's not important to plot though, but something is a little different on day 3 if you want to kill some time later on!)

Just a heads up; you did the Beaver race once to get a bottle, but you need to do it again to get a Heart Piece. If you reset the cycle, I think you'll have to do the bottle race again first (but because you have the bottle now, it'll probably be 50 rupees or something)
