As A Seb Fan IM COULDNT BE MORE HAPPY FOR THIS POLE😍😍😍 Hope for some More Seb Poles like Australia 2011 or Monza 2008 For other Poles I hope for some like 1988 Monaco 1992 Belgium (Where Mansell beat Senna by 2 SECONDS) 1994 Monaco (1st Schumi Pole) 1994 Italy (Alesi Pole & Ferrari 1-2) Or something Like 1976 German GP (Last Pole on Nordschleife😅)

Looking back even after 11 years one of the most morale and soul shattering race weekends. His pole lap that he converted to pole absolutely drove to that perfection and the race literally blitzed everyone as if he was driving against a ghost.

2013 was an interesting year because it was: -Last year with V8 engines and 7-shifts gearbox -Last Sebastian Vettel's World Championship -Last Mark Webber's F1 season -Last year when driver's number were based on previous season Constructor's standing and not on a personal choice -Last year with driver points 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1 (honestly I'm not 100% sure about that) Those are the things I remember, if you have something to add, you're welcome!

Trying to imagine this car, with today's C5/hypersoft tires, today's power, 2013 exhaust blown diffuser and weight......Vettel would come back to drive if F1 was like this (well assuming the fuels are synthetic carbon-neutral).

The fact that Vettel downshifted more than necessary to keep the revs up and therefore keep the exhaust flow hitting the diffuser-tire gap, and also sometimes trailed the throttle mid-corner and even into the exit.......almost counter-intuitive to what your instincts say......it's what made him seem so confident.

You`re not running the correct layout mate. After the old Singapore Sling, they used the other side of the bridge with a much tighter chicane before. Still a cool video

I ran the lap in VR, so I think I'll have to screencap it somehow. I'll upload it at some point. I'm thinking I might tweak the setup and see if a high 40 is possible before I do that, though.

@@bizon1271 I found more time 👀. Turns out, Tom's trick of running near max downforce was faster. I was only running around 15f/6r on the wings. 20f/9r was the ticket for me. I'll work on getting the lap uploaded some time this week and drop a link here. Finals this week in classes. ☠
