Trying to build nightstands | Growing a passion for woodworking

Hello there!
When I finished secondary school, I actually considered studying furniture design for a few months. I ended up not choosing that path since it was more the actual building of furniture that would interest me rather than the design-part of the studies. (At the end I choose a very different study that interested me a lot.) But now that I am starting to have my own tools, space and a small collection of wood scraps, I have to admit that this old interest is calling me again and slowly growing into a passion. I know very little of woodwork. There is no one in my direct environment that can teach me much about it. Most of my knowledge comes from watching videos, fantasizing, and talks with good friends who share this passion with me (Frederick, Niels, I am looking at you 😉). So, I am certainly not here to teach anyone anything. I just wanted to show you my processes (maybe picking up on some good tips and tricks here and there).
