I wasn’t taught about tools or how to build things or much of any important life skills! I need to get things done but on a next to nothing budget ! I can’t afford to pay $80/hr for a contractor and the neighbour who usually helps just don’t show up or call to let me know he’s not coming ! Soooo I have to learn to do it myself or it don’t get done !
Never learned to use a drill and don’t have anyone to help so what I build has to be simple and easy and something 1 person can do !!!

Good job with the progress and good luck with getting good reliable help❗️ Your extended raided bed was a smart way to maximize the wood 👍🏼 🌱

Most of the time if you don't do it yourself, it won't get done right anyway.

19:40 don't store your cordless tool batteries in the charger. The charger can drain the battery while unplugged.

@@jenniferoceanhomestead Don't store them in the tool, for the same reason, unless you've tried it with no problems. I never trust it and separate everything.

Practicing on scrap material is a good plan. Your drill isn't strong enough to push those screws into that lumber. You can try pre-drilling the holes. You want to use a drill bit that matches the diameter of the screw shaft (not the threat diameter). The numbers on that collar indicate torque. The higher the number, the higher the torque.

Thanks so much ! I have no clue what numbers to set it to … I don’t understand any of that lol I did figure out the issues and works great now ! To use it to drill in screws … you can’t use the picture with the screw 🤦🏼‍♀️ you have to use the pic of the bit that you use to pre-drill holes … who makes this stuff ? Lol the pic of the screw should be for drilling in screws lol all good now tho … just the drill images are messed up

Ms Jennifer, you need to pre drill a hole in your wood so your screw goes in better. ALso, your drill is not very strong. Make sure its charged. but having a pre drilled hole should help. Make sure your drill bit is just a little smaller in diameter than your screws. YOu can do this Ms Jenn.... I know it!

🥰thanks so much ! I just got some help … neighbour down the road came and thought it was odd that it won’t drill past a tiny bit … it’s quite ridiculous what the problem was but an easy fix ! I’m posting a video today so ppl know ! Anddddddd I was able to cut all the wood myself and screw it all together myself … I’m not attaching the lattice yet tho … need paint for the wood then I’ll attach the lattice but for now I’m using zipties ! Thanks so much for helping ! I did just find the charger yesterday too so going to charge my battery before I work on the rest today 💕🙏🏻
