I liked all of them but the 7year old bay (3rd horse) was maybe the one I liked the most and then the other bay. The grey mare seemed nice but she looked like she was kind of fighting you a bit

I liked them all, the bay at the end really intrigued me, she seemed quiet but with a lot of scope. I would have a bit of reservation due to her lack of fitness, I didn’t see enough of the 2nd mare to judge but very nice scopey horse. The grey is beautiful with a lovely change but I think the last is my favorite.

I love how docile and narrow the third mate is. Very light over the jumps with balance and forward motion. You looked at peace with her and she didnt seem to through hist fits

Grey mare seems fun and knows her job. She seems to lock on and spot her fences well, but sometimes a little fussy in the head. 1st bay mare had kind of a lazy hind end and got tight in the canter when approaching fences. She also took a lot of bit, but you can retrain that. 2nd bay mare had a nice front and hind end over fences, but seemed a bit flat in her jump. For this vid, my vote is the grey mare. You two seemed to click nicely.

Jamie H agreed. I also noticed the gray mare seemed to be a little bum high, and ironically, the two horses I’ve worked with that are bum high also tend to be fussy with their head. Wondering if there might be something there 😂

Interesting you say that as my horse was bum high (well he still is but he's not mine now) and he's always been fussy in the contact too. Is getting better now that he's learning to sit behind, it's taken a lot of flatwork from me and his new owner to get him there!

Kate Lattey there must be something about it then. For us too, although the current horse I have is a rescue, and he was impossible to ride because of head shaking and fussiness. Nose net and mask worked wonders, and although he is still fussy in the warm up, it no longer lasts the entire ride

That 6 year old mare looked extremely promising, especially according to her young age. Very keen on going forward but easily collectable and learns fast. Looks for jumps and looks like she likes her job. With some training definitely can also be controlled with a regular bit.

In my opinion, the grey has little flare, no drive. You can make her go forward, but you can’t make her jump with interest like the other bays. She’s gorgeous don’t get me wrong, and it’s your and your choice only.

Number 3 absolutely!!! The gray was beautiful but seemed to be fighting you, the 2nd mare is also a good candidate, but number three and you looked like you meshed the best!!! I think she'd be wonderful once her fitness is up!

i liked the last one the best. she seems very smooth, willing and nice. And I also liked her jumping very much! the grey was also not bad, but I think she maybe doesn't have the greatest potential (only what I can tell from the video) but she definitely would fit you very very well.

The grey is nice but she a bit unsettled in her head carriage.she also doesn’t look very supple throughout her back as she seems to be unbalanced round the corners due to not having much bend. I personally like the second one nice scope, and you are able to hold her to give you that bounce you want underneath you for jumping the bigger tracks and making those tight turns in jump offs. And the last one did nothing for me but at the end of the day you need to choose the horse who suits you and your riding the most x

I really like the grey mare! But the last bay was my favorite(even though she wasn’t fit), she seemed so quiet and nice , and I think she would be a great horse for you to train!

I love the first grey, the second bay was so beautiful and smooth but even if the last mare was quite unfit she looked gentle and cleaned those jumps nicely. However I'm commenting 3 years late so it's up to xD but if go for the last one!

The last brown😍 really collected and brave. Have the scope and is fast too! Like his technique and it seems like a horse for the bigger jumps🙈 the grey horse was a little heavy in his steps, and looked a little un comfy to push on the canter strides, but he also jumped great and saved on long strides

The last mare you rode, lovely movement,scopey, snappy with her front end. Nice conformation from what i can see. With some work,exercise and training,i think shes the best of all of them. from watching the video, i like mare #3. Although as always your the one riding her theres so much more we dont see and feel, go with your gut and how you feel about each horse. Goodluck!!!

Damn, that grey mare has some spring in her hind end, I swear. Super fluid with her changes as well. She has a shorter stride than Nana and River, but she can still cover ground! She seems slightly more opinionated and a little like Boo when you first got her of wanting to speed up to the jump, but damn she looks like a blast. The first bay mare wasn't as careful or seem to have much scope but she's super pretty strided. The second bay mare is a beautiful little mover. She seems to be able to sit back on her haunches easily and looks easy to adjust. Despite being out of shape, she still has the scope and seems to have a good background/education in her. Overall, I personally like the grey, but again, I can see you going more for the last bay. You looked happy and content on her.

The gray from part 1 is still my favorite! Although, despite her lack of fitness, I liked the last bay in this one. She moved nicely once you got her out a bit and could have way more potential when she’s in shape. A consistent, lovely ride. Good luck on your horse hunt!

Think I liked this set of mares better than the last 😊 The grey was very nice but I didn’t like her movement on the flat as much as the other two. The bay mares were lovely! I quite liked them both. The first seemed to have a go button and seemed like she was adjustable as well. The second bay mare was possibly my favourite because she kept the same pace coming into each jump and she had nice knees. There also looked like there was a jump where she changed legs in the front right before it and was left disunited behind but she just went for it anyway ❤️ I loved that! She seemed very honest. I think I liked both the bay mares over the grey. I’m really hoping you find a nice grey to add to your collection though Lauren 😂 and would love to hear your thoughts on all the mares you try so we can see what you do when selecting a horse

the second one from te last video is still my most favorite. But from this video I like the last horse the most. Now that you're in Belgium I think it's interesting to contact Euroequitation and Stal Naessens, these two stables always have good quality horses with lots of potential for sale !

The third one is definitely more quality than the others. The jumping technique is outstanding, and it seems to naturally want to push from the hind end which is excellent. I think with more fitness that mare could take you far! The grey seemed very heavy, and the second horse was way too scrambly with the fences

I Think you look best on horse # 2. You look happier to plus she is pretty. You also seem to have a very secure seat with her. You and her are both calm and in the same zone with each other. She is so CUTE. I hope you find the right horse! Good luck!

Last mare is scooped but really small. Out of all the horses in this group, I definitely liked the grey. She suits you size-wise and has a nice quiet demeanour. She has a lot of spring to her, so that'll be nice for the taller fences, but I'm not seeing the right horse here yet (that's just my biased opinion though). It's hard not to compare any of these mares to Urano. He had a great build, quick, and scopey. That's why I liked the one mare in your first video because she had spunk, nice confo, and was enthusiastic about her job, PLUS she was very careful. Thanks for allowing us to follow your journey :)

Hmm... I love these videos! So interesting :) I thought the grey looked quite heavy on her forehand and unsettled in the contact. She tended to run slightly downhill to the fences. The 6yo bay mare had a slightly strange canter, if you slow it down to 0.25 playback speed you can see how it's slightly four beat. (So is the grey mare's, actually. They both land early in front in the diagonal pair, but the bay also tends to come croup high as she comes out of the canter stride. The last bay has a much more true canter.) The 7yo bay has a super snappy front end, but she looks quite short in the neck, although that could be partly tension under saddle rather than her true conformation, it was hard to tell. As a jumper it doesn't matter a huge amount but as I think you're planning to breed from your next horse (potentially) that would be something you'll be taking into consideration. You did look like you were having fun on her though! Just my observations :)

The last Bay mare was nice and calm. Very nice to see. Looked like you had complete control of the speed. The grey looked more scopey and a lot hotter. It really looked like you had to ride her back every step towards a jump. The bay 6 year old looked little insecure and I think she was too small for you.

Initially I really loved the first grey mare in this video; however the last bay has a brilliant hind leg and, with development and strengthening work to help her be able to really bring herself back on her hindquarters, I believe that she'd actually be the scopier of the two.

I liked the last mare the best, i liked the first grey from the previous video than the one here. Although i just learned that around 80% of grey horses get melanoma by the time theyre 15 although some may not be malignant or have it spread or grow easily. Its not even caussd by the sun normally, its just a gene that most greys have that trigger the overgrowth of melanin, and you probably already know or are prepared for the expense and possibility. But to me its would be a huge quality of life factor to decide upon if you plan on keeping this next horse for very long. Granted not all greys develop it but just knowing the possible risk makes me worried more than it should
