The two round items you called a speaker are actually the height sensor system. Transmitter and receiver. It's like radar or Sonar. Ine sends a signal towrds the ground, it bounces and gets received by the other unit. Depending on how much time it takes to make the journey will dictate how far above the ground the drone is. When the drone boots up it usually checks to see if all systems are working and if any of them are faulty or missing the drone won't complete the boot sequence. That magnetic plate is probably to keep the top piece or maybe the protection rings secure. With those ribbon cables always check to see if the small clip is pushed home completely and evenly, otherwise the ribbon may detach. My apologies, I don't own that drone and I've never worked on one, so my knowledge of it is only general. Obviously I could be wrong, but many drones share ideas and use pieces found on other drones. With my personal classification I'd put that drone in the toy section. It's extremely basic. As for the pieces you found, at a guess they could be ESC's Electronic Speed Controller. If one or more are out of the system it would definitely cause the Boot Loop you have, As does just about everything else in the drone. One of the biggest let down on these cheap drones is the motors. They are brushed and they will wear out very quickly, but luckily they're very inexpensive. I always have a dozen or more of them in my spare parts drawers. A small tip, always use a landing pad when landing or taking off. Taking off from grass dirt or concrete will cause dust to fly everywhere and some of it can find it's way into the motors. This will wear a motor out quickly and if a piece of grit gets inside it can cause the motor to completely jam. This is true of both brushed and unbrushed motors. Happy flying.

Did you try to clean the lens on the camera? It looks like it's just filthy.

Thanks so much for your video! I am trying to get my AR Drone 2.0 to work again and I keep running into problems with the Android app. I am able to connect my phone to the Drone via Wi-Fi but the app seems to think that I am not connected. Any suggestions?

Me again . A question. have you ever seen the damage a drone can cause when it takes off from someone's workbench? Even a small drone like this one can rip skin off you arm or any part of the body it contacts. KZbin removed a lot of blood and gore photos showing this damage, believe me it's not pretty. A small boy was watching his Dad fixing a drone, it took off and took the little boy's eye out. ALWAYS, repeat ALWAYS remove props when the drone is on the workbench. If you're lucky all you'll get is a lot of pain, as I did about 5 years ago. I still have a scar across my knuckles and it bloody hurt for a week. Props can be like a knife blade. Did you know about the young guy watching a drone being flown in a public park? The drone decided to crash and he ran straight into it. One prop cut his carotid artery, he died in just a few minutes. Tip. When replacing or removing the props remember there are two types, 2 clockwise and 2 anticlockwise. Mark which goes where when removing them.
