My goodness. What a pleasant surprise. I'm a 70 year old retired electrical engineer. I've banged my head against a lot of technology in the last 45 years so I'm not too impressed with many new devices now, but this quadcopter impresses me very much - particularly since it costs only about $300. And the young man (unknown name) who carries out the demonstration does an excellent job; you are verymuch appreciated. Now I only have to sell about $300 of my gadgets to justify buying a AR.Drone 2.0.

I have this Drone 2.0 as well. First thing I did was turn on the Joypad Mode which gives more control over tilting the control device all over the place. Mid-air stabilisation is phenomenol.

Go to a remote area, far from any other WiFi signals that can interfere with the drone's signal. The furthest I use ever able to take it was around 80-82M on a clear and calm day.

Nice review. I would point out that the props aren't made of carbon fibre. the Drone creates it's own wifi network and the phone connects to that. There's doesn't need to be any other wifi networks around, and actually you don't want that as it creates possible interference.

This is only introductory level equiptment, its "apple-fied" by the auto take off and landings. Hobby grade quadcopter with fpv will have a distance of miles, but this is an easy package to get to sample the tech.

I have it it has about 9 mins of battery if u come across wind harder than 15km then it's not as good inside its pretty annoying but it still works really well

This has a 1000mah battery. With the processor, camera, 4 motors (although small), and other stuff that lowers the battery life. Simply upgrade the battery. If you fly with only the outdoor hull you can probably get a 2000 mah battery on there easily.
