Not too sure what happened afterwards. I can't imagine he made it all the way to the langdales and I don't see how he could have done a U turn either.

I was about to do the pass when a motorist flagged me down to tell me a coach was reversing all the way back after attempting it so we stopped for a pint at the Woolpack and then set off. Fantastic pub! If it wasn’t for the crazy coach driver we never would have found this great pub! We watched the coach come past whilst enjoying a pint! The pass is not a problem for light vehicles!

Looks like the bus says Pride of the Clyde on it. Most likely Scottish, and definitely driven by an utter madman! If it's a manual then I guess the clutch met its maker too.

Hahaha brilliant, but very silly. I recently took a 3.5 tonne Fiat ducato over this pass but only because I see the merc sprinter mountain goats mini buses doing it lol, anything bigger than a big van and your asking for trouble.

its written unsuitable for all vehicles in winter conditions 30% inclination etc pre entrance and the road is fucking open with black ice all over during winter.... why not prevent accident rather than reach 4 help after the accident(hope the network is available) this place is awesome for summer but not winter. dumb people everywhere lol.
