"I got a haircut and now I look more like a twink" is such a fucking mood sometimes lol

This was super cozy to watch. To me, getting out of a rut feels kind of like trying to remember something - the harder I try, the more elusive it is.

I would love to see more of your daily life and real life witching so many people online try to make it out like if you go any amount of time without doing something within your practice then you're a bad witch or some shit. It would be extremely for the new practitioners watching you to understand there is no correct way or time limit or schedule and you can literally make everything personalized

One specific lowkey video idea to have a quick post in December is a bookshelf/book collection tour of your witchcraft books. I think it's one of a more popular type of video, and personally it's a good way to see what books to lookup and potentially check out. Hope the creative rut eases up for you, or at least your December and New Year goes smoothly. Your videos are always a comfort to watch regardless of the type of content, and I'm happy to keep watching.

To get out of a rut? I usually deep dive into Tarot/and Oracle deck. Wild Unknown Alchemy deck is one of my go tos for this mood. Then I usually pick a parallel thing to do. Something I'm interested in that is creative along the same lines but doesn't have the pressure of an expected result. Usually that's a good springboard for me.

I freaking loved your tea/spell story time, I wish more content creators would go in depth about their spells and the outcomes. Just from this random fan of yours as an idea :) I think you're doing great and look forward to reading your book!

Great video as always! Doing The Artist's Way course through the book has helped me out of creative ruts, taking different routes when commuting, trying different drinks at cafes, drawing what I visualize my block/rut to look like, and then crumpling it up and trying out new oracle spreads.

Maybe it's just that time of the year, where we turn more inward and just aren't very productive. Go with the flow!

I think I feel like I’m being weird by commenting stuff I’d like to see from my fav creators, even if they ask for it, so I don’t do it a lot but I’d love to see more videos of you going through witchy shows or movies and dissecting the practicality of the witchcraft depicted in them! I really enjoyed your previous video on that. I’d also love to hear your relationship with Christianity / Catholicity, I did watch the recent panel you hosted and enjoyed it! I remember you said previously something to the effect of “I believe in God but I don’t like him so I don’t talk to him” (mega paraphrasing here! I don’t remember exactly) and I’d love to hear more on that. I know that I, as a German-American practitioner, have plenty of prayers and traditions that include evoking “Gott +++” (God, The Father, The Son, The Holy Spirit) and I personally do wrestle with that notion as someone who has relationships with other deities that were synchronized with Catholic Saints (for example, Frau Holda and Mary, among many other saints she was synchronized with), as I’m aware Diana was synchronized with Mary and many other saints as well. I apologize if this was worded weirdly or poorly! Hopefully this makes sense 😅

Oh yeah! This is also going to sound so strange but lately when I’m in a rut, I rewatch Jujutsu Kaisen (anime), or if I’m not “feeling it” when I need to do a spell I watch & listen to the intro music section of season 2 👁️👄👁️ I feel like such a nerd admitting that but it works for me! Maybe you have a similar show that makes you feel similarly? ❤

I watch all your videos and find them interesting. I’m a solo practitioner who has nobody irl to talk to about witchcraft, so I like to follow a few witches on KZbin and see what their practice is like. One of my favorite things is book recommendations: I just bought Utterly Wicked because of your tik tok mentioning it was good.

I used those cards (well, not exactly those, but the Sicilian version of those cards - did you know that different regions in Italy use different Scopa Cards? The first time I played with someone from the North I couldn't tell Wands and Swords apart from their cards)... so, yeah, I was saying, I played with those cards since I was a kid, I spent my summers by the swimming pool or by the sea, playing cards with my sisters and cousin. A lot of traditional Italian games, and others specific from my region with regional names. So nostalgic. I never thought about using them for divination, though.

I really liked the video. I am not sure I am the best one to give ideas as my main "public face" is more in written word (articles and such) and not videos - and it is a different style/world. With that being said I figured I'd throw some ideas out there just in case... Perhaps tell some stories. Things you have personally experienced in all your years on your path. What it is like when your path starts to shift and change (especially from a large content creator perspective). Things you personally struggle with or you struggle with inside the witchy/ spiritual community in general. Talk about what is currently catching your attention - what you are interested in learning more about for yourself. I find that personal stories are what connects us to our audience the most - though it is also the most dangerous I feel in today's social climate, especially the larger your audience is. Trolls and hate are a real thing and we are still people at the end of the day, so it hurts. I know there is probably a lot of your practice you can not share for various reasons, but maybe there are some you can - at least in a general way? I know you were wanting to beef up some content this month - what about some stories/ folk lore around the season - tales and creatures? In Ozark/ Appalachian (and I would assume the Rockies) - the whole winter is viewed as the season of spirits, the spooky season. People assume to often that it is just around Samhain, but for mountain people it is a very different story due. What you do is not easy. The pressure on top of that with staying aligned with your audience and their wants makes even more so. Have compassion towards yourself. You have a following because people enjoy your style, your content, and seeing what you are up to next. Just keep being you. P.S. have you considered connecting with the spirit of the elephant? You might find something there for you.

I would love in-depth info gathered from the books you've read, like contrasting info or info that's impacted your practice. That would be informative but also help me choose what witchy nonfiction to read next. But you did say you didn't want to do educational stuff right now, so maybe at a later time

Ah ruts... Something I'm pro at thanks to bipolar depression... For some reason staying up 24 hours is like hitting the RESET button on my system. At the end force yourawlf to stay up and do your normal things like eat, shower, and make lists on what you are gonna do to be productive the next day..let yourself go to sleep at like 8 and wake up at a solid morning time like 7 (if you dont have a 9 to 5 job that is)

What if you go back to your Reacting to the Basics videos? Or looking back on Beginner friendly videos you made and see if there are any new/different perspectives you have of them? Love your daily routine/vlog videos by the way, they're great to have on while I do chores!

I haven’t gotten more than a minute into the video but my gf walked by and overheard and said “they do look like a twink” lmfao. I relate but usually I’m like “I look like more of a dyke” but tbh that’s my transition goals lmao

02:16? Tarot the justice.
