Up until September last year I was in a reading slump for around 2 years where I didn't read hardly any books. Last year from September I started reading again and I managed to read 41 books in 2023. I think the best thing with a reading slump is to let it pass, they are horrible things to go through but like everything else it will pass 💕

Same! But I only properly started again in December and I’ve finished 5 books since.

3:12 that's so true!! once i pick up the book, i read for 1 hour+ but then actually picking up the book is so difficult... the book is by my bed side table and i know i can just reach for it but something in my head always says just go on your phone instead 😒 its not even like my book is boring either! my book is interesting and im liking it too 😔 (it's archer's voice)

I’ve been in a slump since November 😔. Your videos are the most inspiring, motivating things to watch. Are you going to be doing a 2023 wrap up! I’ve been so excited for it!!!! Much love ❤❤❤

As someone that works in a bookstore: Young Adult feels weird sometimes because technically the age range is 13-18. Which is very broad and a 13 year old is definitely not on the same level as an 18 year old.. but it is what it is 😭

I love incorporating both the audio and physical reading experience into my books when I can! It does something to my brain that helps me focus & remember more of what I’m reading, and I just feel like it makes my reading so much more enjoyable!

I’m just starting to get out of a slump I’ve been in since late October of 2023. I’ve wanted to read again but nothing was catching my attention. Like you said it’s been nice to not force myself to do it and that helped me so much! I’m now wanting to read and I love it!

"Everyone's slump is different" ... True, because how you described your 'slump' sounds like my regular reading habits... For Example: It takes me 10 ish days to read a standard rom com or thriller = 10 hours on my Kindle and i am soooo content with that. 😍💖

Ugh I’ve been feeling like this for about a week now! I want to read and I enjoy it when I do it, but I’ve been ‘avoiding’ reading and filling my time with other things. It’s so frustrating! I don’t know what’s happening 😂
@Intentionally_jodie11 ай бұрын
I think rather than putting more pressure on yourself and possibly pushing yourself in to burn out 6 am is early enough just give yourself permission to start whatever you have planned after reading after 6 am . Just give something up or push it back or half the time s your doing things rather than making it even harder 💕
