I believe Boxing Day is celebrated by countries in the commonwealth so Canada, Australia and New Zealand would also traditionally celebrate it to name a few countries. Oh dear that duck 🫣

Boxing day use to mean 1st day of harvest with spring barley & mowing grass seed here in mid Canterbury when I was a kid. Dad drove big baler's and that was always parked up ready outside. As irrigation became more wide spread it pushed the combines back a week or so.
