Watch Dogs was released in 2014 only 6 months after Grand Theft Auto 5, this put a lot of pressure on the game as it is considered to be a "GTA Clone" and came out not long after one of the most anticipated GTA games of ALL TIME!
In Watch Dogs you play as Aiden Pearce, a hacker whose niece gets killed in the crossfires of a job, and you track down the people responsible to get revenge.

Maurice was the man who took the shot that killed Aiden's niece. He literally only appears in the first mission and after the credits, but at the end, he's the one that Aiden blames for killing Lena. So that final choice is basically Aiden succumbing to his desire for revenge ( kill Maurice ) or letting it go ( spare Maurice ). With that said, i highly recommend that you play the Bloodline DLC from the game WatchDogs Legion, as it brings a final conclusion to Aiden's story many many years after the events of WatchDogs 1.

If you collect the burner phones, you find his blame slowly shifts to the big guys, Lucky Quinn and Iraq, though Maurice isn't clean, he starts to "forgive"

@@mayortheogalavan True, but if the events of the Bloodline DLC from Legion are anything to go by, i believe that, canonically, Aiden executed Maurice. SPOILER ALERT IN CASE MATTO READS THIS After all, when Jackson's inside Aiden's mind, the person he needs to switch places with ( the one Aiden repeatedely executes ) seems to be none other than Maurice himself. As if Maurice is just another phantom whose death still haunts Aiden.

If you let him go, you have to reach his last known location where he abandoned his car. 56:08 You CAN get a free ride from Nicky, just get on top of the car before she drives away. 1:52:35 T-Bone did a press check to check if his pistol is properly working by having a bullet in the chamber. This is something I've also seen in the museum scene from John Wick 2. 2:26:42 It's possible to skip the entire chase sequence if you can hack as fast (and carefully) as possible, DedSec will congratulate you. Watch a speedrun to verify. 2:29:58 You can get 3 different "alternate endings" by failing this QTE in 3 stages. 2:42:28 Digital trip singlehandedly raised the score from 8.5/10 to 9/10. Watch_Dogs supports every player type, so there's no wrong way to play this game (unless the mission explicitly tells you to take a certain route). Yes, I actually enjoyed watching the way you played because most people I've seen picked the stealth route. WD1 has some glorious pistol takedowns that resemble John Wick's takedowns, you need to be in open combat to access weapon takedowns for every weapon except grenade launcher. Great stream Matt!

"They didn't recognize me before?" You'd be surprised how easily people look past others. People that are out and about rarely care to look at other people, so much in fact that sometimes reality is extremely weird where Robert Downey Jr. for instance got second place in a "lookalike" contest. It's why the Superman disguise actually works as well in most cases. The reason they noticed you there is because all screens suddenly showed your face, alerting them to specifically look around as you were supposedly spotted in that location by an anon (Damien).

Oh i remember the last mission. I played on realistic difficulty, died like 10 times in the process and got pretty annoyed at the cops always wrecking my car the second i switched to a new one. A little overkill imo, but i understand it should be the last "boss fight"
