Depends on the person, really. I, myself, find crochet to be so much easier. I know several knitters personally that can't grasp just making a crochet chain. Brandon has tried both and while neither seems to be his cup of tea, seems like knitting is easier for him.

Brandon, my best friend taught me how to crochet when I was 20 years old. Her husband taught her. He was right handed, she was left handed, I am right handed. It is possible to learn from someone who isn’t of the same dominance (lol) as yourself. 😁 so don’t give up!
