I've mostly just had people say hello and go our separate ways. One annoying guy followed me around laughing like a clown. It was really annoying so I muted chat. He didnt attack or nothing. Just followed me, crouched behind me as I was doing a quest and laughing around. Irritating lol

I then caved, we cleared Charleston train yard and then he just logged out. Gonna stay in my role of a helpful lone wanderer from now on.

I got messages by a guy a little north of me who said he was dying of food and parasites so I ran to him, died 3 times against super mutants, and made it to him to give him a disease cure. He gave me some bullets and then i asked if he had any screws on him and he gave me 3. That was enough To make my full set of X-01 and I later fast traveled near to his camp and messaged him telling him he helped me build my PA.

I made a great friend in Fallout during the beta, we happened to be on the same quest and we played together ever since. We launched our first nuke together, climbed the highest mountain in the game and made our camps there. Now we play together every day, exploring, sharing plans and recipes, taking and sharing workshops. We're having so much fun together ❤️

I made a new character, I was level 2 doing main story. Some guy messaged me and told me to join his group and fast travel to him. I assumed it was another low level wanting help. When I got to him he was level 72. He had a bag of stuff on the ground for me, some good junk, stimpacks, radaway, and ammo. Then he showed me a couple of glitches (infinite weight and exp). Then when we were playing he dropped a full suit of power armor for me and 15 power cores. Great experience among many good memories so far in this game. I've only encountered 1 person I had a bad interaction with during my almost 70 hours of gameplay

I think one of the best ways is to make an interesting looking camp that people want to go and check out. I made a two story with crafting downstairs and what looks like a sort of makeshift pub on top, and it elicits at least a few emotes.

It's funny to me how before the game came out everybodyyyyyyyyy was screaming ppl are gonna be toxic, tons of griefing etc etc...yet everybody I run into is very nice, willing to trade or help a fellow vault dweller. It's like the fallout community had no faith in its own community. Sad really.

This game heavily penalizes PVP interactions. So players default to either being passive or actually helpful depending on their nature.

When i was a level 5, I met 2 unforgettable players. We started to talk, they answered my questions about the game... and like 15 minutes later, the highest level player asked me if he could have my favorite weapon, i trust him and i give it to him... He upgraded it, and gave it back with a lot of stimpacks and food, for free! I was shocked because i never expected that, and never experienced that in any other game, it's awesome! Now when i see a low-level player, i always give something to help them. Man, i love this game :D

Every time i see little peeps who’re level 1-20 I always help and give them resources. Recently met a kid who was maybe 12 years old and he said how no one lets him in Xbox parties since he’s a “squeaker”, so naturally he joined my party and we all went questing for 5 hours straight lol. I love interacting with the 76 community, some real keepers in this group man.

Everyone I've met is mostly mute. The few that have mics seem to prefer being left alone, including myself tbh. I feel these games have a large demographic of introverts. Social anxiety will deter a lot of people from talking.

Me and my friend are lv 70+ we have run into many people at workshops and had some nice interactions with players, both high and low. We even had some friendly pvp. Our best moment so far is when we launched a nuke at a fissure to kill the scorchbeast queen, we expected people to flock over and sure enough about 8 high levels showed up and we all worked together to kill her, we all did emotes and even traded some gear among each other. I managed to get a few of the power armor plans by giving up a 3 star legendary rifle, it was quite fun. I do wish there was a text chat in game cause everyone mutes their mics and it would be nice to talk to people across the map like on ark, dark and light and conan. But fallout76 does have its own charm. Its got bugs and the graphics arnt great but all fallout games have had those issues. People are just looking for the next game to hate on...honestly i cant believe people can put so much effort into trashing this game but they are totally okay with p2w games or extremely expensive cosmetic shops. Just saying its stupid. Fallout76 does it right with the cosmetic store, its not to expensive and you can earn the currency in game (better then the games that make you pay 100$ for a costume) Edit: On an off note people who complain about the pvp are pretty stupid. Games like rust, ark and other survival games are KOS and people complain about it. Personally i love pvp and i wish the pvp was more lively especially considering you lose nothing on death but im not broken up about it since they are making pvp factions and stuff. The only issue i have with the game mostly is that the stash box is far to small and my fix it good perk card is worthless cause all the gear i fix to 200% CND go down to 100% CND the moment i get shot or the moment i use my weapon

Sometimes it's not that poeple don't wanna talk, but the language barrier is there. I'm a french canadian from quebec, and I've never met any other french on the game, luckily I can say that I am not bad in english but that isn't the case for a lot of poeple. There should be something about putting poeple with the same language in the same servers, that could help.

Love this game. If Bethesda adds more systems to 76 that can encourage roleplaying I think it could really help break down some of the monotony of the game loop. With that said, I’ve been enjoying the game. Great video juice. I personally would prefer this style of video than the incessant negativity that I see surrounding this game. Happy thanksgiving. I don't start fights in 76 because it's much more satisfying to fill that photo album with the faces of complete strangers I meet on my journey. I've made it a point to never fight people who are below my level in the game. Especially if they're below 30. I like the general behavior of the community I see in game and try to foster that good will. It's awesome to see you and others in the comments who do this as well.

I've been surprised by the amount of times I've been waved at, asked to/offered to assist temporarily, etc. Or someone stumbling into my c.a.m.p and going on to team up for a bit after I let them use my workbenches and extra beds. I like to find low lvl folks and drop random but useful loot because it can help for sure. At first it seemed like people were actually avoiding one another. It's been pretty open and friendly though past few days compared to when the game dropped. For someone who never plays multiplayer/online this has been a whole new thing. I am shocked by how much fun I'm having with this aspect... when I'm not screeching about the game crashing anyways. 😂😬

I only had one "enemy" and that was one me and someone were killing a deathclaw and he git in front of my bullet. He killed me with a black powder gun after he accepted combat. I went back for my loot which he didn't pick up then he dropped me a stimpak and we were all good. I haven't really had any negative encounters. I like to often give rad away to people because I have an abundance of it that and fusion cores and then we often get along and we help each other defeat high level enemies. I like playing with randoms because it feels like a random encounter like in the other games which I feel they wanted to do when they made the game which I feel makes the game exciting and unique. (I did this without a Mic too)

So far the people I’ve met have been pretty nice, The only times I’ve been attacked is over the workshops. (When we weren’t fighting over the workshops they were quite nice) I’ve noticed lower leveled players tend to be more afraid of higher levels though, probably an abuse of power. I met a small group of level 10-15’s who initially lit me up while we were in the Mire, after trying to convey I was friendly they eventually stopped and explained “sorry, normally power armor and a super sledge mean trouble” and I led them to my camp. Me and a friend provided them with some supplies for their trip down east to the Bog and helped them resupply their medicine. Even if few people interact with you, the ones who do are generally nice. I’ve met a fair bit of doctors providing free or discounted aid aswell as small groups who go out of their way to help with quests or protect help you with anything you’ve been having trouble with

My guess, it was the outfit. I normally run with eyeglasses and dirty army fatigues, but my character also has a welcoming “resting” expression. I normally hang out at my isolated camp, but I get a fair number of visitors, low levels and high levels. Roughly 97% have been friendly. Only two have ever attacked, one who was spooked by my chameleon armor, and another who didn’t appreciate the level three locks I keep.

Honestly, the best fun I have had is finding people in the wild and asking if they need anything! The absolute best is finding players who are new to the fallout series, then I explain all the fallout conventions to them. That often leads to me helping them clear an area they were having trouble with. This is what Todd intended in my opinion.

Try joining events with many people already in it. It’s difficult for me to interact with others a lot in other games, and I don’t like socializing much, but in 76 it’s easier for me to get friends in the game. when helping others with events help a lot. I was doing feed the people with lvl 60 in power armor, lvl 3, and a lvl 19. After the event 3/4 of us joined as a squad for about 3 whole hours. So my advice, join events with many people.

I was sniping out some mole miners from a cliff that were way higher level then me, during this I targeted another player in vats who had come up next to me to check out what was going on and I accidentally shot him in the face. He had his Mic on and and started laughing and told me to "Ease up Bud, just seeing what the commotion was." I apologized and we ended up doing a bunch of trading. Later on we bumped into eachother again and We scouted out a mine together which I would not have been able to do on my own because it was another high level area. Then we added eachother to play in the future. I have not encountered PVP or griefers AT ALL since I started playing on release day. Everyone I have encountered has been super helpful. Most people are trying to get that single player experience (like myself) but its rad to have people out there who join in and help or trade or chat or whatever. I think this game has amazing potential and i really enjoy it, i just hope the performance issues get sorted out sooner than later because its really annoying. Love your channel Juice. I met a lot of griefer and noob trying to pvp / kill me during quest At lvl 6 in flatwood i was in a terminal and a group of 3 lvl 5, 7 and 9 attacked me, i proceed to kill them with a fire axe and drugs and i pretty much 2 hit kill each of them, it was a good day: 3 bag full of junks ;3 They tried to kill me again with the revenge feature but meh logged off and join an other serv :)

I killed 2 guys today who were both wanted, 10 and 50 caps for the kills. Turns out they were in a group but not together. I found this out when I killed the one worth 50 caps and he started giving a bj to his mic. I was then told how I'm a fa**ot 100 times while his friend joined in to get revenge. I killed both of them about 3 times each before I ran out of stimpacks and ammo then ran away. Not quite the same experience you had but I think the message is the same. I think of them as my friends, the type of friends who'll give you caps and is willing to engage in pvp even though I was 30 lvls higher than both of them, that special type of friend who you don't really talk about but because of them you learn new ways to cuss and the meaning of the words. I love this game :D bugs and all.

I have to say, I've ran into 0 players in this game that have been toxic, nearly all of them have been openly helpful, or just NICE in general. It's been so great to see a community be so positive in a game that gets so much negative feedback. I'm loving it!

To be honest I feel like the fallout community is an amazing one! I think it’s because anyone who played previous fallout games knows how much effort and work some people put in play throughs and don’t want to ruin someone else’s experience. I’ve only had one encounter so far with a player who just flat out just shot at me, and actually chased me halfway across the map just to kill me over and over again but other then that ive met a lot of new people I enjoy playing with

I was over-encumbered and wandering to an objective when I saw players in the middle of nowhere on my route. I diverted a little to intersect and found them at a base. Their door was locked, but they let me in after a series of friendly emotes to use benches and stash boxes. I gave them excess plans and chems as a thank you for the access.

I've yet to find any aggressive players. The game is really friendly and besides a few small glitches/bugs, I can deal with the frame and choppy issues. I enjoy it. When I'm playing it makes me happy that I can go up to random low level players and give junk they need throw up an emote and run away. Ever so often I'll drop a fusion core to them.

In my mind this is how it was going to play out "So I met this 110 player where he took me to his home. He then showed me around his local ammunition factory where he threw me down a hole where he then asked me to PUT THE LOTION IN THE BASKET". There Our friendship was solidified.

I even met a friendly fellow Enclave member. Later on I did an Enclave event where he and his team showed up to help. He used the American Flag emote when we finished the event and it was magical to see fellow Enclave members stand together. I’ve only had maybe one hostile player but my friend challenged him to battle and I joined in on my friend’s side.

I've had great encounters by just.... setting up my camp in the middle of dangerous places. So many people stop by my camp at fissure prime, and I've even had a neighbor for an entire day.

So far I’ve found lots of people that I now group up with again and again the most memorable one was when I was a low level (18) and I found a group of people that were level 60 and up, they had plans to launch a nuke and they helped level me up to level 42 with a glitch that had the high level glowing ones spawn after the nuclear zone went away. They gave me high level weapons to use and everything

Man after watching this video I started interacting with other players, giving away the things that were taking up space in my stash like excess ammo to randoms, every person I gave stuff to was really friendly and several of them even sent me friend request which was cool!
