To keep from becoming or feeling overwhelmed, maybe select one room to focus on, have a game plan for finishing or completing it. Also, make a short term and long term list of projects. Missy, you've got this. Enjoy the journey.

Just because you bought a new house take your time enjoy it, you don't have to jump in to renovations right now, just get it fixed the way you want it, I know doing renovations can be costly

My thoughts exactly ❤️ just trying to figure out how much stuff will cost so I can start making plans 🫶🏻 but I’m so excited just to be in there!

I think I remember you saying you sew? For your tiara's, you could make some velvet display pillows so they will show up better in your display cabinet. You are doing great. Im so proud of you and your accomplishments in buying your first house. Can't wait to see how everything comes together.

Such a large house to tackle as your first place alone. To combat your getting overwhelmed try using a success book. Write down things you need or want to do with each page being a different room. Not only will it show what you need going forward, seeing things crossed off helps a LOT when you can't seem to move forward. I think, so far, you are killing it Samantha.

Get a few rolls of shelf paper for your closets. Cheaper than baskets and less plastic waste.

On your water heater, there should be a dial where you can turn the heater up. Mine is 1-10, and I turn mine up to 7. I hope this helps.

When my candles didn't stand, I would drip some wax onto the holder, then press down the candle on the hot wax until it dried (took a minute or so). Your sweet home is starting to come together with your beautiful touch, can't wait to keep watching the process as you continue to decorate 🌺🌼💐🌸🌷🌻🌹

For the dusty shelves - lay a sacrificial older towel down so you don't have to feel like your clean towels are touching old wood - I completely understand 😂 or you can get contact paper and lay it on top of you were planning on refinishing the wood details

My mother-in-law uses a little bit of tinfoil around the base of her loose candles to keep them upright and stable. If you don't find another solution, you might want to give that a try. 🙂 By the way, I loved your idea of displaying your tiaras.

To make your candle stick, take an old candle, lighted, drip a little bit of wax in there, press down the new candle into the wet wax and that will help hold the candle in place

Hi Samantha. If you can get some small cardboard boxes and cover them with pretty satin or velvet fabric, you could elevate some of your tiaras so they are not all flat on the shelf. It would look so pretty and not take away from the beauty of your collection. 😊 My washing machine leaked once and I called a repairman. Turned out I had the water level on high and had a big comforter in there and that caused it to overflow. I didn’t see it overflow so I thought it was leaking. Maybe that is what happened to yours?

Good someone mentioned this. When you have big bulky stuff that will happen. The oven was probably cleaned so let it get hot and let the smell burn off. And yes 450 seems HOT but it is correct. @@SamanthaROlmsted
@karengallant813651 минут бұрын
Everything will happen in time. ADD is horrible but if you try and focus in one area at a time it might be more manageable. The hot water heater might need to be turned up sometime people turn them down when leaving a home empty during the selling process! Also, the oven my smell becuase it hasn't been used in a little while. Give everything time you will figure it out. I learned alot of decorating ideas from Pinterest and home problem solving issue from the internet. There is alot of information out there you just have to research it.

I was hoping yiu were gona do rooms makeovers and renovations and paint. Not sit on the couch most of the video. Let us know what your plans are otherwise....bye
