The selller should have disclosed all the things wrong with the house when your purchased the home. Its called a seller disclosurer form. Its illegal not to disclose this information. Check with your agent. Anything from mold, water damage, roof , electrical or plumbing.

I wouldn't recommend burning real candles in your new house. Use battery operated one. I love mine. Most of mine are on a timer or dusk to dawn. It feels so comforting when they come on.

I had a $350 glass coffee table for 40 bucks and I know it was 350 bucks in the store cause I saw one just like it so from your mom, you can clearly use one of those tables. Get your TV off the floor. Put your pizza on Reynolds wrap. I never had a pizza pan Reynolds wrap and then it’s not hot when you take it out.

Your tiaras look really cute in there. You could probably get you some vintage doillies or a piece of lace and you could like crumble it up and make it to where it's bulked up where it holds the comb then if you wanted you could put something underneath the lace or doillies to put them at different heights. For your washing machine, leaking water could be due to overloading the machine (too much clothes). Rule this out with a small load first before looking at leaks. That might be the reason why the machine had no issues before.

Get floor heaters those small floor heaters and plug them into the wall not into an extension cord and I’m gonna tell you it’ll probably save you at least 100 bucks if not more on your heating though so it’s cheaper to turn on those little floor heaters than it is to turn on your electric heater it cheaper cheaper cheaper

If your water is cool in the entire house you may have to turn the water temperature up at the water heater. You can wrap floral tape around your candles to hold them in place.

Hot glue will fix candles that won’t stay. 😅

Everything will happen in time. ADD is horrible but if you try and focus in one area at a time it might be more manageable. The hot water heater might need to be turned up sometime people turn them down when leaving a home empty during the selling process! Also, the oven my smell becuase it hasn't been used in a little while. Give everything time you will figure it out. I learned alot of decorating ideas from Pinterest and home problem solving issue from the internet. There is alot of information out there you just have to research it.

I'm sure your grandpa loves helping you because they love sharing and using the knowledge they have learned over the years.
