ive been training literally this exact same way i hope basim has a good safety roll for high jumps having bayek do a tactical roll after a clean bow kill with the roll is perfect hopefully we all have the same rush with the throwing knifes
@whipwalka Жыл бұрын
there is a roll skill and it is slow and basim rolls sideways, it looks really bad tbh but if you watch dallin_s how to roll in valhalla, he shows how to roll in a quick and smoother fashion. i would recommend watching that vid. i dont play valhalla so i havent gotten to test this but ive seen people do the quicker, smoother roll in the mirage gameplay that released recently using dallin_s strategy.

Honestly, I just hope mirage doesn’t go balls to the walls mythological because “isu” ya know? I’m holding out some hope they’ll keep it grounded within the assassin narrative but I’m prepared for the worst.
@whipwalka Жыл бұрын
i’ve heard on multiple accounts that loki isn’t even really in the game, basim has the nightmares about the “jin” that is loki but who knows how much further it will go than that, i’m really hoping for a minimal amount of isu scenes

@@whipwalkaYeah yeah,but the Isu are really really important for AC franchise,and AC lore,and basim is litteraly a powerfull reincarnate isu with the hermes staff,is to important for not be in the game...
@whipwalka Жыл бұрын
@@maxlepackswowowow9131 Yeah i never said i didnt want any isu, in fact the isu part of assassins creed is really cool imo. the issue is when they strayed from the assassin/isu story and just became a mythological/isu story.
@tatooinenative860 Жыл бұрын
Tbh there isn’t much mythology in the Middle East like in other cultures, esp so after Islam rose in the region. So Ubisoft really doesn’t have much to work with on the mythology side and therefore I’d bet good money that they’d abstain from that.
@Luger0312 Жыл бұрын
@@whipwalka That's exactly how I feel about it, too. I mean, Precursor Civilization was a brilliant idea. The Isu being remembered as gods culturally even though they weren't was great. But then all of a sudden one of them has a giant Wulf as a child and all the mythological stuff is real. Like wtf the narrative went completely off rails. The Isu storyline could and should have stayed a story about continuus struggle and intrigue from an ancient cast of rulers tightly knit into the different factions such as Assassins, Templars and Instruments of the First Wills fight over the artifacts and temples.

Mirage is more like Valhalla than Origins, there's more weight and moves are a bit slower. Some animations seem to have been reworked, it looks more realistic somehow (for AC standards)
@whipwalka Жыл бұрын
after seeing the new gameplay it seems like they are on the same level of speed when traversing (imo ofc), and yeah since the 7 min gameplay reveal they have tweaked a couple of the animations to resemble ac1-rev and with the added speed it looks pretty realistic and smooth tbh.
@semu8030 Жыл бұрын
Yes it hasn't released yet, so they can rework some stuff to add realism or optimize the general experience
@whipwalka Жыл бұрын
@@semu8030 yeah like the “side ejects” suck in these games but are sometimes usable, but the worst part is they aren’t consistent so if they just somehow got them to trigger a little easier that would go a long way

@@ninjafrog6966 I wrote that comment almost a week ago... Still, Unity gave all it could give. Mirage hasn't been released yet and movement transitions look better already. Parkour itself is a different thing, in that regard Unity still wins, you have way more options, but there's one game already that has smoother movement than Unity and that's Mirage Edit: Doesn't apply to combat though, just general movement and parkour
