And if you look, the angle of the kicks were way better in practice. Literally half the misses the kick is fine, it's just aimed to miss on the opposite hash. The ones in practice are much less extreme of an angle.

I got a helpful tip on kicking fgs for cane so please like this comment so he sees it. There’s a vibration on the controller that will tell you if you’re lined up inside the goal posts or not. When the controller vibrates it means your outside. When the controller stops vibrating it means you’re inside the goal posts but you still have to account for wind direction and speed!!! I found this out in practice mode and it changed the game for me!!!!

The sway didn't fail for office, it made the pitch you selected his ideal pitch only for your school that's all the sway does. So now if you had 60 pts available you could put 40 into that pitch on a hard sell, and his original ideal pitch is still available and you can soft sell that so you're hitting all the grades that are green, not sure you would've gotten him especially since you didn't have 60 pts available to spend on his position but you would then have to hard sell on that pitch you first swayed to see

11:44 #35 somehow knows the QB threw the ball despite facing the other direction, immediately reacts and comes to a stop from full speed that Ryan Williams would be proud of, and bats the ball down without ever looking at it. Stuff like this really kills the game for me, I always hit that point where I don't feel like I'm playing football, I'm just finding ways to beat these dice rolls that look vaguely similar to football. It's not fun!

Hey Cane, that missed kicked hurt my soul lol, but I have a tip. On some of those kicks, especially from the far hash, if you point the arrow towards the goal, the controller will stop vibrating indicating that it is pointing where it needs to be to make it. This helped me out so much on those kicks and hope it works for you!

Sheesh. That Bowling Green game should have been a gimme. Considering that Reed's already a junior anyways, it might be time to look into recruiting a kicker; not sure that having a guy with better ratings would help you make user kicks, but it certainly couldn't hurt. I like the playcalling variety you showed in this episode, even if those plays didn't always work (the orbit screen, the reverse pass). Once you start playing better programs-- in bowl games, or even the playoff if you somehow manage to win the MAC this season or next-- you're going to be at a disadvantage in terms of athleticism and ability, so you'll need to scheme your way to wins. Keep getting creative and breaking out those trick plays.

I’m working on catching up but here’s a couple of tips for you so you can try to have a more successful off-season: 1. Try to find an architect for a coordinator, if not both. The second architect ability gives your players within a position group the potential to break skill caps on level up. This can cause players with a limited ceiling to become starters with enough luck. I’ve had 1-stars just decide to be better than 3-stars. 2. Don’t forget that you can keep working to find high schoolers during the transfer period. Sometimes transfers just don’t line up with your needs so it can be beneficial to keep finding bodies to fill in depth instead of ending up with surpluses at the positions that want to transfer in. Your OL and DBs became very thin this off-season and you didn’t seem to consider just finding more depth at those spots when the transfer portal became available.

Make sure you have all your OL playing in their listed positions. If they don't have the team player ability, even a LG playing at RG will take serious negatives to their attributes

Cane....not that it would have won you the battle, but the Sway worked on Office. Normally, there's only ever 3 green check marks for the motivations. Office had 4. Not to mention all the green check marks in the Pitch Summary section in the middle of the screen to help indicate that it worked.

@@MrHurriicane Yeah, it might not’ve mattered in the long run. I don’t know how well it’s working for me, but as soon as I can, I check on the motivations and what package they want. If it doesn’t fit my grades, I Sway and keep it on until either I’m losing or it worked. Season 2 of Coastal is picking up a lot of 3-star gems, but they’re uncontested battles for weeks sometimes, so I can afford to leave Sway on plus the 10-pointer, “friends and family”? I forget and we’re playing Marshal right now.

If you get Chip Henery just leave him at OLB and don't convert him to a DE, he most likely looses quick jump (and the ability to get it back) and could even loose some physical attributes aswell

I noticed when you put the RT in vs bowling green and the pass protection got a lot better, you also started to block the rb. I think blocking the rb is more important / makes a bigger impact than that upgrade at RT. I don’t know if you’re seeing my comments but if you are blocking the rb is huge for pass protection and you need to keep doing it

Love the content as usual. Also, dude, I don't want to see you suffer for a whole year until 26 comes out. You are one of the few football (video game) KZbinrs who isn't cringey, fake, etc. If you feel like you should tweak your custom sliders to be easier for this particular playthrough, I'm definitely not going to think less of you. I don't want to see Buffalo dropping over 70 every game, but I also don't want to see you spend an entire year torturing yourself, trying to play with a terrible squad and balancing janky mechanics (that seem to heavily favor CPU teams) at the same time. Even if it's just a slightly easier change for one year, so you can increase some of your school grades for recruiting... Also, highly recommend Tennessee Veer N' Shoot playbook for your team (Pacheco prob better pick for this year than Watts if you do so). It really does a great job creating space for receivers with speed, doesn't have many progressions, and almost every pass play is designed to force defenders to choose between cover assignments (so, for those reading, the plays force defenders to choose a receiver to defend. If you can recognize that decision as soon as it's made, at least one receiver will be open). Also think it will be much easier for you to keep Stayley without making it your primary goal when playcalling.
