Got my Silver Sky 2 months now & decided to buy it exactly becuz of it´s sound after listening to & trying numerous other SC Guits for more than a year. It is individual taste and feeling always. There are so many great guits out there, but I always kept coming back to this one. For me it is not about "To strat or not to strat" but more about a special and unique Single Coil sound and PRS could deliver. Only thing to do now is to manage playing such virtuos unedited nonsens. Keep up the great work!

I got to give you credit, you have tried harder than just about anyone else I’ve seen to make this thing into something. You get an A for effort anyway. There was one guy here on KZbin that was talking about how great it was, then he wrapped it in chrome auto wrap and did a pickup swap. I am more than certain that a year from now the only people that will still have these are the people that paid too much for them and can’t reflip it. In better news I picked me up an S2 McCarty 594 Custom loaded out with the Brown paisley case this week.

The reason you don't like the Silver Sky SE is it's not a True 22 fret Strat like guitar like Leo's Fender Strat is with the sweet neck pickup placed in the middle of the 12th fret to the bridge. The Silver Sky core model is like a Loe's Original Strat with a sweet neck pickup placed in the middle of the 12th fret to the bridge. Strats, Tele's Les Paul's all have the sweet neck pickup placed in the middle of the 12th fret to the bridge. This Silver Sky SE will never be any good and it is by PRS design, it is like the difference between a PRS Custom 24 and a Custom 22. Through away the Silver Sky SE before it drives you crazy trying to figure this out. They Tricked us all.
