Trying to start van and dealing with rusty bolts | 1992 Dodge Ram B250 - Retro Van SERIES / Part 6

In this series of trying to restore 1992 B250 dodge van we give the van another try on starting it but no luck! We finally realize its just not getting gas from the fuel pump to the carburetor. I then go underneath the back of van to try and start removing the gas tank but the bolts are completely rusted and seized. Not much was accomplished in this video series but In the next video you will see how we finally get it down and gas tank completely removed. From this posting I already have the right fuel pump delivered and I am going to try and see if it works in part 8 coming after 7. So my husband and I . had a Dodge ram van we got it in Wisconsin we are from Wisconsin and moved to Oregon because of health reasons but rust is a big problem with this make sure to check around where does steering sector is or box it's a common rust area thats what took mine out and ended up selling it for scape there's a kit you can get if it's not to bad mine was to bad . I came across your channel I see you like the older cars I now have a 1986 Oldsmobile Cutlass ceria that I drive daily

Thank you! for letting me know I will definitely take a look at it around the steering column and box and look into the kit. I'm hoping the bigger rust issues are mostly in the back half of van because it's a lot lol. Yeah I definitely was always fascinated by the 80s and even some seventies big body cars. I always wanted a Cadillac. I see you like the old school cars as well, I'll have to look that one up and see how it looks.
