Micah! You are doing so well with speech. My oldest daughter goes to speech and I know that it can be very hard sometimes. You are doing great! It is so cool that your parents have a video journal of your progress over the years. I know it can be sad to see where you once were but it is a testament to how hard you have worked. It also gives other kids hope that they can succeed as well. My youngest and I started using All About Reading this year and we have that same poster up in our homeschooling room. She was so excited to see you have it up as well. I hope the school year is starting off well for you all. Thank you Moore Family for letting us see a glimpse of your life. Oh my goodness, I laughed so hard when Micah gave his amazingly sincere response: "Well, I don't like it, but I'm glad I'm getting smarter." It's amazing to hear his speech progress (praise God!), and I love the way he explained how he perceived his speech at the time versus how it sounded to him played back. That was so interesting and very well explained on his part. Do you teach the Bible as part of your homeschooling? Does Micah have a favorite Bible story---and do the other kids? I'd love a video about their favorite Bible stories (or characters) and why they are their favorites. God bless you!!!

Good job Micah on your improvement in speech! Your hard work is paying off. I am so proud of you! I knew the kids were growing. Sophia is really maturing fast! I figured out Mike's stress/ panic attacks.....the girls are getting too grown looking! Jacob would not put anything in his mouth and we thought what a good baby. Even though as traveling he would cry the whole time until we got home. Now we know those are red flags for being on the ASD. He wouldn't even smash his birthday cake. My DIL grandmother took his hands and smashed it with him. He didn't then or even now like balloons. He still has a lot of anxiety riding. About 2 weekends ago it was so bad he threw up in the car.
