Ha! I was born in 1971 so I know that a few of these things came out in the late 70's/early 80's. Largely the games. Mouse Trap was definitely an "older than the 90's" game. I remember playing that in '76 or '77. It never worked right though which bummed me out. The Slinky was also an older toy. They did a portion of Mysteries at the Museum that featured Slinky's in fact. I can't remember what it said about that toy, but it seemed like it was created (completely by accident) in the 40's? Still, very interesting video!
@TheMooreTheMerrier3 жыл бұрын
Yeah, we even had the Game of Life out which is from the 70s but it still gives us memories of the 90s lol 😂 The slinky's were amazing and I had no clue it was created in the 40s....and of course like alot of inventions....MADE BY ACCIDENT lol
@jarrodwomack50773 жыл бұрын
@@TheMooreTheMerrier Every time I see a slinky, I flashback to when I was working in an old UA Movie Theater and we had Eddie Murphy "Raw" come in. Obviously, I no longer watch that video, but it was long before I was saved. Anyway, the ending of Raw, Eddie was doing this thing where he does his dad drunk berating how good Eddie had it. He does all of this messed up dialogue and then he ends with, "Every time I hear that song, I get sick to my stomach. 'They walk downstairs alone or in pairs. They make a slinkidy sound. A spring a spring a marvelous thing! Everyone knows it a slinky. A slinky! A slinky! A wonderful, wonderful toy. A slinky! A slinky! It's fun for a girl and a boy!'" I probably got some of the words wrong. I'm just going off of my memory... which isn't great. :) I never even caught that you had the Game of Life out. =P I was busy looking at the N64 and thinking, "I had already finished college when that came out! Gah!!!"
